what did you do to your 944 today

As is only right and proper. [:D] Wait until I get around to doing a 917 and the 944 will be in front of that as well. :ROFLMAO:

Oil and filter done, managed to nip the oil sender so hopefully oil leak sorted, a right awkward sod to do ! Degreased both under trays, squared the front vents up behind the front PU,gave the underneath a coating of cavity wax, and also dropped the rear by about 25 mm. Looking good and driving it to work tomorrow.........................Love the drop [;)]

Charged the battery on my Black turbo,Bought A race battery and some replacement brake ducting for my 944 S3 racecar[:D]

Here's the result of the last 5 months labour and uncontrollable spending .....

Had to head out for some pics!!

That really does look stunning. Even if it's not a 944. [:D] It's such a period look, and 924s are very pretty cars. With the two-tone on the rear wing I've finally worked out why I like them so much. It's that rear wheel-arch shape, and the tiny lip on the hatch; just looks less bulbous than a 944. And the paint leads the eye up at the back, so it doesn't look like it needs a toast-rack to hide the underneath the way a bare-bottomed 944 does. I'd think that was exactly how the designers saw the car looking in the metal.

924 looks great, don't do anything else bodywise just right as it is ! Well done Rick, nice one where did it go ?

norfolk, seemed like a nice guy who works for lotus f1 so hopefully he'll keep on moding it and turn up on here

It was too cheap but I know the feeling. I hate selling cars, nice to know it's up cheap so will be easy. Has the 996 arrived yet?

Went to my matey's who owns a 89 944 Turbo SE and a 924 and a 964 Anniversary in viola, he is also breaking a 924 so got some bits of that, jacked the car up cleaned front and rear wheelarches with the pressure washer, fitted spacers 15mm rear and 6 mm front...............now low and wide luverly !!! Put the 964 on axle stands stripped front undertray and gave Mike a hand as he is fitting H&R proggresive lowering springs, wheel spacers and a nice new bigger exhaust tip...............wish ours made that air cooled flat six sound............Brilliant ! Need to put the ECU's back to bed after fitting Lyndsey Racing chips which has made a difference to performance already before fitting resprung wastegate. Kalahari Beige looks amazing with the early evening sunlight on it................did not have a camera with me [:(] Hoping to have the Black Turbo S back from paint next week.

One success, one failure Fixed the drivers side window which had dropped a little - been meaning to do that for quite a while, but couldn't fit new hatch seal as I can't get a bolt out which holds the rear spoiler in place

Broke 3 rings on my lux [], took the engine out, swapped in a new one, started it, found a crack in the oil cooler housing, took it off but broke off a nut, welded it, replaced the oil cooler, started it, found a hole in the radiatior, swapped it, started it, drove it, loved it [8D].

You did that in a day??? Geez, I thought I was doing well to spot a corroded exhaust hanger, bodge it up with some wire and put the car back down on all four wheels... Oh, and put the passenger door pocket back on, and change a brake flexi on the 924T cab project...

welding welding welding.............. oh and a bit of dressing welds. Getting there though one side nearly done.

I drove mine today after working on it for most of the week. It only reminded me it still needs a major geometry check [>:]
