what did you do to your 944 today

ORIGINAL: ChasR Eldavo, I am assuming those mounts have roller bearings in the rear? It would be interesting to compare these to the 944 and 968 mounts in use. Granted that for racing the 9Products items are the ultimate mounts to have :). It was quite an interesting website to venture on.
Nope. The black bits to the right of the mount go on the shaft either side of the bearing and butt up against it. If anything that transfers the rotational forces into the bearing rather than the rubber in the existing mount.

That's a very personal question Simon ;) Dunno yet, still up on axle stands at the moment - will let you know when I get the chance to take it out (sometime this week I hope).

I'll keep an eye and an ear out and let you know how my "front body" copes with the "hard ride" ;)

bolted MDF to the trolley jack so I could remove the gearbox[:)]

Now that's a clean gearbox! hope your not going to clean it more and make the rest of us feel bad.

Treated my 944 to a new high-tech cover from [link=http://www.techautos.co.uk/light-duty-outdoor-and-indoor-tailored-water-resistant-cover-9857-p.asp]Tech-Autos[/link]: lightweight indoor and outdoor one. So if i have to leave my 944 outside occasionally, it won't be in the rain... Now trying to add a decent-sized photo for the first time....

now, I didn't get the image bit right - can anyone see where I went wrong please??? [http://s273.photobucket.com/user/prymaka/media/944cover_zpse91ce6a1.jpg.html][/img]

You put ".html" after the .jpg part of the URL. The URL for the image should be just: http://s273.photobucket.com/user/prymaka/media/944cover_zpse91ce6a1.jpg however, it doesn't seem to work - says that the page doesn't exist...

Oh no, I stand corrected - photobucket has odd links! http://s273.photobucket.com/user/prymaka/media/944cover_zpse91ce6a1.jpg.html does work.

I can make the link work, but I was actually trying to display the pic on the posting, like that immaculate gearbox above, rather than just a link. The image button just shows "
" and I am not sure how to modify that.

Hmm, no. That's the image attached, but I can't seem to get it to display properly from photobucket within the post... But I can for the gearbox image!

without the spaces is the link would have worked :). You were almost there the first time around, but you tagged the image incorrectly. As a rule of thumb the link should say http://xxxx.com/hotbabe.jpg or something like that. Sometimes it having HTML can confuse matters but IME having JPG or another image type at the end of the link tends to work. In your first link you used one of image tags out of the pair (the [/img] link).
xxx.jpg
(spaces removed obviously. No brackets should be around the link itself, only around the tags (in pairs (opening and closing brackets) obviously). Forgive me if I am teaching you how to suck eggs, but I can appreciate it can be a pain to sort out such hosting if it is being done for the first time :). With the Photobucket links you can use the IMG links to achieve the same thing. Simply change the IMG tags to IMAGE tags for the PCGB forum.

Is there not an idiot proof way of posting pictures as i usually have problems, it surely would be easier just to post the image link between the 2
