Mine the revs drop too far to almost stall and then leap to 1200ish drop back and leap again, I think basically it is reacting too slowly and 'jumping' once it unsticks. I cleaned the one on my coupe, then later discovered it was leaking boost quite badly so blocked it off with no real issues. The cure for the cab will probably be just to drive it - if only they would stop salting the roads - havent time to give it a good weekly wash and thats what caused the coupe to suffer. Tony

It's easy to see - tucked away underneath the inlet manifold. It's a prize fiddle to get off tho', on account of the positioning of the bolts which hold it on. Not impossible, but it helps (alot) to have small fingers. Oli.ORIGINAL: robwright looking at Andy's S2 it looked like a doddle!!! Try doing one on a turbo!!! It's defo a manifold off job. Andy's paperwork says it was checked but I am not convinced. Would love to have a look at it and also the pipework for vacuum leaks.

I will put a good word in for you mate [] Seriously though it is a massive bonus having your own workshop. Even if it is for locomotives all the basics are there, just having plenty of space under cover is a bonus and the inspection pit has been known to come in handy on occasion. I used the gun I got from ebay mate and it was spot on. It wasn't keen on me replacing the extension pipe with a longer one but the supplied one had quite a massive spread out the end of it so was OK with that. Standard 1 liter tins of waxoyl screw staright on as well []
That'll have spread the waxoyl around inside the sills nicely! [] Oli.ORIGINAL: robwright Drove her to work where I have a nice big compressor and spent the afternoon filling every cavity I could feasibly get into with several litres of waxoyl. Then took the twisty, turny country back road home and gave her a nice spirited drive to stretch her legs []

Rob, a mate of mine is a one man band mechanic so i do get free "ramp time" when it is available, taxing the 220 soon and will be booking a day for fitting resprung wastegate, Lindsey Racing Chips 3 bar FPR, along with a couple of other bits and oil and filter [] A good mate Mike Moore has a 10m x 10m garage under his house enough to take 4 cars and get around them easily, pillar drill, bench grinder, vices and worktops.........to die for ! He happens to have probably the cleanest 944 Turbo in the UK, White Reg No 330 GUN along with a 27k 964 Turbo Body Anniversary in Viola Mettalic (K30 CEL) along with a 924, very impressive when you open the garage doors......................................jammy so and so. Should be going to Dinslaken in Germany in May in the Anniversary May bank holiday, which is a major Porsche gathering in Europe, depending on Mikes sons exam dates, if Mike is full will be tagging along ? in one of the 944's []
