Stripped them down, wire brushed all over and then degreaser with brake cleaner. About 6 coats of caliper paint and refitted. I left most of the caliper parts with a thin coat of paint on for protection and just built it up on the visible bits otherwise the thickness interferes with the sliding surfaces.ORIGINAL: Oct I think it looks great with tele's and I am not just saying that because mine has them too [] Eldavo, cracking job on the calipers.I am doing my front discs this weekend but after seeing that picture I think I will have to pencil in a caliper refurb.Did you just clean them up and paint or go for a full refurb?

Ah percussive maintenance. Can't beat it. Today I repaired my Karcher jet wash before using my new snowfoam attachment and covering the 944 in foam ready to buff the streaks of from recolouring the hoodORIGINAL: 944Turbo First time it happened I gave the ISV a blow with a blunt instrument - it stopped - so reasonably sure that's the problem.
