+1 for the bacon roll and meet. I also think we it be brilliant to have a 944 day/single night out with a blast up north (of Scotland).

ORIGINAL: 944 man
ORIGINAL: Frenchy No not really, they do not frequent the forums apparently, one telling some very tall stories, he must have thought i had fell out of a tree, the other was rattling facts off about a particular model ans was oncorrect on most of it and when i attempted to counter his beliefs with real facts he would not have it as he knew best obviously..................Rant Over [:)]
Apologies for not being clear - I meant that I personally had experienced similar owners and knew how you felt.
I think I know who one of those people might have been...[;)]

Took mine for it's MOT today, passed with no advisories. Result. Quick spin on way home, off to give her a wash now. Alan.

After I parked up and was having a chat with one of the developers who works for me a couple of guys approached me, said they'd seen my car parked in the street, really liked it and wanted to know if I'd sell it! The guy who owns the Jag who parks in the same street had come over before to compliment it, but first time i've had someone want to buy it. In spite of my "crisis of faith" posting last week i found myself saying i wasn't really interested thanks.

Gave the Turbo S a good wash to get rid of flies and brake dust after a 460 mile round trip to national day (Tipec) last week, a run to dry her out and back in the garage, 2 new brake pipes fitted to the rear of the 220 last Monday along with oil change, diff top up and a replacement NS wishbone so took it to get tracked today, i have been flitting about in her in between house jobs, tip and exterior painting. Le Mans Classic 4 weeks and counting [:D]

Popped in to OPC Leicester to pick some bits up, in the workshop they had a 993 GT2 Evo, belonging to Frank Williams son. OMG, how nice! I didn't breath near it I promise [8D]

Gotta be worth that at least! Yes, Glenn's a star, always so helpeful and nice to get a cuppa and shoot the breeze when picking parts up. He said yours was in the other day, I did drool over it last time I was in it was there. (Drool only went on the tiles I promise! [:D])

2 of us and stuff and the cat to Dorset for the weekend. No issues there. On the way back 2 of us and the cat, 5 tomato plants and 4 paintings (1 quite large!). Did it all fit, of course it did. Then pedalled home and the poor chap in his Leon Cupra couldn't work out why this old red thing kept coming back to him on the straights. Couldn't corner too fast, cat complains!

Picked my S2 from Car tech and Care in Brompton on Swale after having the Cam belt, Balance shaft belts, PS Belt and fan belt replaced New water pump Belt tensioners Oil, Filter and spark plugs Collapsed tappets replaced and cams re-timed Runs like a dream and much smoother and responsive but not all good news seems cam bearings have worn oval on center supports so someime soon I will need a new head or at least one without any surface wear.

Great just to get out and drive her, been away on hols for 2 weeks so gave a her a nice blast up to Hertford and back through the Essex countryside 80 mile round trip M3's turn tomorrow...........

Replaced heater matrix and swapped dash for a non cracked one off ebay. What a job! Won't be doing that again in a hurry... I can see why the POs mechanic bypassed it.

Washed it and then splattered flies on to it going to the Region 8 meet at the Coopers Arms Weston-on-Trent, and took a few pics - [link=http://s787.photobucket.com/albums/yy158/A9XXC/PCGB%20Evening%20at%20The%20Coopers%20Arms/]Coopers Arms[/link]
