A job I've been dreading started today, Well started quite good removed air filter box and throttle body"straight forward enough". After this I stuck my phone in and took some pics seeing if I could locate the sensor, and sure enough there it is right behind/underneath the ac pump. My friend came round and degassed the unit for me so I could remove it took out the three bolts two at the front and one at the back. Before this I forgot to mention I had to take off the offside inlet manifold what a pain in the rear that was. Opened up my new sensor/level indicator and found they sent the wrong one for turbo/gt3 had my dobuts when I saw how big the nut was. seeing as the air filter box was off I took the chance to change the fan belt seeing it had a few more cracks in it than I wanted to see.

About 20 minutes after I disconnected the battery tracker called me and asked if I was near the car. After me telling the guy I was working on it he told to reconnect the battery or the tracker battery would run down after so long and they can't be recharged once gone flat. Let you know what I find once I take out the oil level / temp sensor.

Blimey Simon you certainly don't let many people touch your car because you do it all yourself , I'm not sure I would attempt all that sort of work mate , very intresting though ,hope you sort it soon , do you go to the brands meeting at all ...

Than Simon .
