What did you do with your 996 today?

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I did the correct thing when buying them. The standard wheels look so good any way, but. I really like how the OZ's look and they are way lighter than the twists.

Cant wait for my trip to centre of gravity to have the Ohlins fitted and set up.

Live had the car since January and covered over 2000 miles. I'm in love with it which isn't something I'd usually say about a car!

Wheels look great - how much per corner?

De-badged my tatty 'Carrera 4' badge on rear and replaced with a shiny '911' badge. Started to sticker up for Le Mans trip too...

From the OZ web site.

Hope me you enjoy the Le Mans trip. I'd love to go one year.

I'm the same but you have a porche ,nothing more to say ,I love my 996 ,with all its teething problems ,and it drives like no other car can ,so yes I understand . Cheers

frank.

Taking her in to get the wheels refurbished. Near side front was obviously one wheel that the dealer must of had cosmetically touch up but now some heats got in it the lacquer has started to crack. Needs acid dipping powder coated and sprayed ( do it properly or not at all). Will post some pics with my new gt3 6pot callipers on soon.

changed the control arms and new bolts job took about 1 hour thanks to Richard Hamilton for a great post on procedure. Also wheels all refurbished and looking fantastic in sparkle silver just a few shades lighter than the standard colour.

Hi richardjjs1 I paid 360.00 including. They acid dip powder coat and spray I also put on new dt chrome wheel nuts and lockers they look great. I'll post some pics once I put on the 350 discs and gt3 callipers ( 6 pot). My car is tiptronic so braking by changing down isn't as affective as a manual.

I would not like to race with tiptronic but I find it very effective for breaking in normal road Use Helps keep those nice new wheels cleaner a wheel Where are you
