What did you your 968 today

Hi I have a 968 cab, and wouldn't use cheap tyres - I got my last set from mytyres and always use vredestien nowadays for all my vehicles including winter tyres on the front of my transit from Oct to March! After 2 side wall bulges with Continental tyres (N rated) I won't use them anymore on anything! Go with Berts advice another cheaper choice which I have used on a previous 944S2 is Semperit tyres they wore well had good grip wet & dry I've still got a spare set on D90 rims! Another tip is use 16" rims mine came with 17" rims and the handling was horrible compared to the 16's on my S2 so outed the 17" rims bought some 16" Cup 1's had them refurbed and put new set of Vredestiens on! If you have 17" rims I still have a decent part worn front pair of goodyear F1 Eagles + only 1 rear the other split when taking them off as the guy I sold the rims to didn't want the tyres! Hope that helps? regards tony

Took mine out the garage today for the 1st time this year, after giving it a wash (1st one since buying it in Oct) I took it a 30mile round trip to make sure everything was behaving itself. A random volt metre and a slightly wooden feel to the brakes but other than that it ran great. Also a couple of little areas that I'll get painted soon then I'll be happy. Must take some pictures to post next time I've got it out.

And the car!!! Voltmeter is possibly the rugby balls need cleaning on the back of the clocks, or a voltage regulator in the alternator, easy change and cheap if you buy the one for the Granada as it's the same as the Porsche one that costs £186.00 from OPC

[:D] Thanks for the Granada regulator tip, I'll be sure to buy one after I've cleaned my balls![;)]

It may take a while for Waylander to reply to you, as he's currently in the London Heart Hospital. Normally he resides near J26 M25.

I am And I have been given permission to keep the car now after recent events So it is no longer for sale

Today I replaced the handbrake leaver due to the previous owner catching his foot on it when exiting the car.
