Added a little Essex Bling, mainly to cover up the dents and scratches in the door sill

Looking good Martin, I've got some on my Sport

Tomorrow morning, I am going to get the '68 out of the garage and give Him a clean. Then I am going to stand about for a bit and look at it admiringly. Then I will leave Him out for the rest of the day so that the neighbours can admire Him as well [8D]. Then, I will put Him back in the garage again [:)].

Oops! I missed a bit out. In between the admiration from the neighbours and, me putting it away in the garage again, I am going to take Him out and....."Rag the Nutz" off Him [:D][8D][:D][8D]:ROFLMAO:!!!!

Nope it's at the correct height for a coupe and that exactly where it will stay, it's a Sunday drive car that is going to remain as close to standard as is sensible

I personally cannot abide lowered cars that chuck the Geo a mile out, and shake the fillings out your teeth

25mm is about the limit or the roll centre goes below ground level and ruins the balance

I had Chris at Center Gravity set up the geo/ride height, and I set the KW's bump/rebound for road use. Fillings are just fine.

Plus fitting and geo

I fitted them myself, got the geo close using a camber gauge and string lines, set the ride height so the front arms were parallel to the ground. It was my choice to go to one of the best set up guys in the country to check and fine tune it.

Changed all spark plugs Wednesday with NGKs each with 4 ground electrodes.

Power steering pump system re-fitted Friday.

MOT test passed.

Brimmed with V-Power fuel.

Drove to London non-stop in 3 & 1/4 hours between 50 mph and 70 mph mostly in 6th gear and ventilation blower on max!

Return trip yesterday.

Car ran without fault.

Lots of staring by the general public - can't be many who've seen a bright yellow 968.

yup you do get lots of staring the colour helps.

replaced both my rear wheel bearings OS not too bad, NS complete toast,

all done new drive shaft bolts and bearings £45.00

Checked the front wheel bearings today, only pulled the outer races out but they look worn deep scores on the NS, new bearings on order from the local bearing shop, SKF works out about £22 a side including seals

I will get them done next week
