Chrome door lock surrounds, but I don't think that counts It was just an experiment not sure I like it myself but they can stay for a while, I am from Essex after allORIGINAL: ALZ 1933 The chrome looks good against the blue, however there's no other chrome on the car....... Hmm, probably black if it was mine. After saying that my one has no badges on the rear at all!

the rubber boot had obviously been missing for a long time and the linkage shaft was completely rusted into the long arm up to the gear stick, so I had no choice but to remove the thing from the transmission tunnel all the way up to the gear stick, then abuse the thing with a beating iron once on the floor.
had to use a ball joint splitter to get the arm off the selector shaft too.

But what an inprovement it's now like a new car slick and precise, and it's got rid of the sometimes clunky change from 1st to 2nd
long hard slog but worth it
