Black or chrome hummmmm not sure but I have a new set of black

The chrome looks good against the blue, however there's no other chrome on the car....... Hmm, probably black if it was mine. After saying that my one has no badges on the rear at all!

Chrome door lock surrounds, but I don't think that counts It was just an experiment not sure I like it myself but they can stay for a while, I am from Essex after all

No definitely not I have more brains in my little finger than that tw@t is ever likely to have But it goes to show that being a thick idiot on a very poor derogatory to Essex dwellers TV show can make you rich and a B lister, Just goes to show the state of the country we live in

I cant work out if he's as thick as he makes out, if he is he's being very well managed.

The black edging around the tailgate was horrid and mostly gone so scrapped off what i could get at, as some of it is behind the bonding, then masked up with fine line tape and painted it in with Dinitrol Glass Bond Primer,

The end result once the tape was removed a couple of hours later

spent an hour or two repairing and rebuilding my spare gearbox linkage, with a new PTFE bearing and new dust seal and circlip.

No slop in it now, a job for next week...

Finally completed the linkage rebuild, what a pig of a job

the rubber boot had obviously been missing for a long time and the linkage shaft was completely rusted into the long arm up to the gear stick, so I had no choice but to remove the thing from the transmission tunnel all the way up to the gear stick, then abuse the thing with a beating iron once on the floor.

had to use a ball joint splitter to get the arm off the selector shaft too.

But what an inprovement it's now like a new car slick and precise, and it's got rid of the sometimes clunky change from 1st to 2nd

long hard slog but worth it
