991 Owners Cars

Love the Pastel Orange. Think I'd be very tempted by Gulf Blue next if PTS availability coincided with a future order.

Well folks.

After taking delivery of my long awaited 911 C4S it is in the final stages of having PPF fitted to the whole car. This 911 is fully loaded and I waited over 10 months for it and cant wait to get her out onto the open road.

I simply love these cars and have done since childhood. Only now realising my dream of owning a 911. Just a few pics of the Porsche

Congratulations on the 911 C4S Mick, I too had to wait 10 month for mine to arrive after paying the deposit! I see you went to CleanDetail to get the PPF film installed. I too got the whole body work done as well! I Originally had Gyeon Cancoat as a sealant applied however 18 month later I returned to have the PPF treated with Feynlab PPF coating. Its only been a week but very happy so far. Were you happy with the work from CleanDetail?

When I arrived to pick up my 911 this is what I was greeted with [:)]

Hi Carlton.

Yes I am happy with them mate. The car is in for the rear quarters and bumper doing to finish off the whole car mate. I had one problem with the lower bumper area that wasn't right but in fairness they are going to replace it no problem. I did go to Paintshield in Peterborough but unfortunately after having three previous cars covered there, the level of workmanship has dropped considerably hence me going to CleanDetail and giving them a whirl.

The last job that paintshield did was on a 2013 Porsche C2S of mine and there were tar spots and marks under the film that had been applied. I was NOT happy at all.

I saw youre car there mate and it looks lovely

My previous car was also done at PaintShield for PPF install however they do not offer the total 'end to end' package and they sub-contract the detailing work out. I have been going to CleanDetail for the about 6 years now!

Very nice indeed, Mike. I feel sure that I've seen this beauty on another Porsche forum! [;)]

Quite right Simon - well spotted!!

Hope to meet up with your striking "T" in the not too distant.

Perhaps at a PCGB event - Silverstone?

Hi Mike. Sadly, many PCGB events seem to clash with my family or work commitments. I'm going to Simply Porsche at Beaulieu on Sunday 3rd June.

Cheers, Simon

Just picked up my 991 C4GTS replacement a 991 GT3 in an unusual spec. What do we think?
