New page new pictures to "cap" it off [;)] Carbon seat Spydermen might like some of these other carbon features to lighten their load [;)]

I do not like the carbon fibre bits look a bit tacky ......i do however quite like the red bits on the seats ... everyone's choice [;)] went on their web site no sign of them or a price but judging by the other products they wont be cheap.

ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan Hmmm, looks like some mods on that.... Ceramic brakes and wheels look bigger possibly, exhaust doesn't sound like std either [;)]
I don't know - was thinking they were 19's but perhaps with winter rubber. Some of these exhausts sound beefier than mine. Don't know if they're different in different countries or if it's how they overpower the video camera's microphone, or as you say, if they are non-standard. This one is loud too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp3t64t395g
ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan ALL the sound is dubbed on that one. I'm off to USA again tomorrow and I'm surprised they didn't dub a V8 sound track to it [:D]
The best thing to do is get yourself one so you can have a play like this guy[:D] But it sounds much better on the move than stationary[;)] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaMWNTTU5gY

ORIGINAL: flat6 Thanks for the market status update Brian. You'll be onto a winner with red, well, joint winner with white[;)]
Surely the above quote should read:- Thanks for the market status update Brian. You'll be onto a winner with red, well, joint winner with John[;)]
[:D] The difference between white and red is that white ones get used in all the best photo-shoots

Whereas, a red one has only only been caught on camera here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVL2-LOKpXA I'll take the one that gets the best modelling contracts[:D][;)]

It's a pukka Porsche option to have red dials, yellow seatbelts, turbo alloys and paint to sample barbie pink. Doesn't make it right though!!

[:D] True, although what Brian is considering is not quite in that league[:D] For some unexplained reason, if it was a lighter colour i'd probably be swayed more quickly. To avoid any perceived bias towards white[;)], here's an example with Cream. Whilst i'm not keen on Cream i'd definitely consider it on that car. Can't explain it.

If I come off the fence, I give you my vote Brian. Although, there may be things to consider when having it done retrospectively (I may be completely wrong with the following). At the factory it's probably done before the seat is assembled (assembled with the chosen colour of leather etc.) To have it done retrospectively will need the leather masked off well, in such a way that the end of the spray up to the tape is not visible. The seats will need to come out to avoid overspray in the cabin. Or, the seat might need to be dismantled so the piece can be taken out & painted. I personally wouldn't bother with it as a retrofit but the look is OK.

Looking at the back of the seat section in question it looks like it might pop out quite easily for painting and would cost a lot less than the factory use to charge[;)]

Looking at the photos I don't think the Seat Inserts are not for me - They remind me of a double handed Cheese Grater we had many years ago! Sorry if you like them but its a thumbs down from me.

Now the sun is shining and the weather is warming up have you reached a conclusion[8D]
now there is a question ! the point is I have in 6 days getting close to the miles I have done in 18 months in the Spyder, the Spyder has only had one trip out to Donnington 2 week ends a ago and a trip to Porsche for a MOT and clutch switch. I love the Spyder and have had 4 daily drivers next to it, all of which have been poor vs the Spyder, so my only option to get the feel was to buy a Spyder with a hard top :) Does this make the Spyder now redundant ?????

"Now there is a question!" In a nutshell assuming the thrill of the actual drive is very similar even if for different reasons (only you can answer that one please) then I guess if you are not a topless 24/7 x 365 maniac like myself then possibly and sadly the answer may just be Yes [&o] Balls back in your court :ROFLMAO:

Sun is out today - I should've had the full roof off this morning on the drive to the office, rather than just the rear window out. MrD, here was me thinking that in this good weather it was the Cayman that wasn't going to get a look in until November[;)] How come you do such little mileage in the Spyder?

I only drive it roof off. one thing I have noticed is the Cayman R PSE is louder and sounds better than the Spyders PSE.
