Nice one. Tell him to haggle the sport chrono retrofit into the deal [] Interesting that they put the car in the prime spot on it's own for our club night. Might just have worked[] I did like the feel of the alcantara steering wheel and gear lever and the grey material goes well with the silver. I should've took a picture with "The last OPC Spyder" For anyone else that might be interested in the car if it doesn't work out with Jamie, it does have PSE despite that not being listed in the ad.ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Thanks for putting those up, your phone clearly takes better pictures than mine! Discussions have opened with young Jamie and Wilmslow, I'm sure both parties are looking for the right deal on the last remaining Spyder!

But if anyone else is interested, could they give it a couple of weeks as they'll never deal up with Jamie if there's a queue of people after it! Oh yeah, and if anyone wants possibly the country's finest ultra low mileage 987 tip tronic with full Porsche warranty, PM Jamie Wilson before it's too late! []
Ooops! Good thinking Rob. You'd all get stung if that happened. They'd be running a secret auction between the punters.ORIGINAL: rob.kellock But if anyone else is interested, could they give it a couple of weeks as they'll never deal up with Jamie if there's a queue of people after it!

Livin' the Dream LOL
What an assumption! It had only done 8k when he bought it 6 weeks ago, the boy's driven the wheels off it hence the desperate need to offload it. On second thoughts...
only jesting rob[] who can blame anyone for wanting to offload to get into a spyder........i was sooo close sob sob.[]..no more news of "my" black one so i guess he had second thoughts when he read this thread,-realising what a rare machine he had and chose to keep it!!!! never mind ...someday hopefully
Hi Andrew Glad to see you and the Spider are bonding well and nice to read your thoughts on the two SpYIders let's hope you rejoin the brand someday in maybe a 981 Spyder even Keep well and in touch Once a Spider-Man always a Spyderman []ORIGINAL: Andrew Killington Hi Cecil and all 'twas me who went from Spyder to Spider. IMHO the Spyder is THE complete sports car package, a fantastic achievement. The 430 of course has its own charm, namely the engine and the noise and IMO has very forgiving neutral handling with a crisp turn-in and little understeer. The F1 although getting on in years is a gearbox well suited to the car and has converted me to that technology. Unlike the Spyder the 430 has more shake (not bad) but wasn't designed as a roadster unlike the Spyder. I was able to scratch the F car itch and am pleased to have done so. For me it says a lot that I traded a Gt3 RS for a boxster and with the Spyder you do IMO get a genuine pure exhilRTing sports car experience. Regards to all
ORIGINAL: daro911Very different indeed but unfortunately the private seller is asking OPC money [&o] For some really different specs checkout this link http://www.dspyda.com/Owner_Profiles/Owner_Profiles.htmlORIGINAL: jdpef356 New to the Market - Black with Red interior something a little different[] http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-current/porsche-boxster-987-gen-ii-spyder-2011/836139
Dyllan. Could it have been 'your' car that we were talking about back then? Maybe he went from too low a price on PCGB forum to too high a price on PH. Nevertheless, that one has gone, or has been retracted. Can't see it selling for that price in a private sale. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:RznoaYCWNkoJ:classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/legacyad%3Flegacyadvertid%3D10022104+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ukORIGINAL: dyllan only jesting rob[] who can blame anyone for wanting to offload to get into a spyder........i was sooo close sob sob.[]..no more news of "my" black one so i guess he had second thoughts when he read this thread,-realising what a rare machine he had and chose to keep it!!!! never mind ...someday hopefully
Well cracked []ORIGINAL: rob.kellock we may crack 4000 hits! Spyder-tastic!
Great shots Flat6 and looks like it was dry enough even for my garage queen []ORIGINAL: flat6 Hi Rob Here's the rest of my pics
You should try it. It's good fun. If you want to minimise the work on your car do a half day (which equates to about 2.5 hours and only 50% of that on track as you will take breaks). It's probably not long enough to learn a track like Oulton, but the half day at Brands Hatch is good as that track can be learnt in a couple of hours. I was a hero in a Spyder at PEC [] but I feel like I want to go to Oulton again to conquer it, even though I said to myself I wouldn't track my cherished Spyder againORIGINAL: daro911Great shots Flat6 and looks like it was dry enough even for my garage queen []ORIGINAL: flat6 Hi Rob Here's the rest of my pics
Roof down the entire day which was a bonus - the roof up pics were just before we left and it was cold and dark! Funnily enough we were talking about you and the dismay you would encounter with the state of our cars at the end of the session. Cecil's photos flatter a bit although Mike's shot of mine shows how bad it had got! Lack of rain didn't mean the track was dry although there was a dry line round most of it by lunchtime. The most fun you can have with your clothes on! Bring on the next one.ORIGINAL: daro911 Great shots Flat6 and looks like it was dry enough even for my garage queen []
