it's the shittest advert though, why say these things "Steering wheel reach adjustment, Front electric windows" then 20" wheels, sports seats and all the other bollocks on that ad. people need to put a bit of effort into adverts if you can see past the advert though, it's a nice price for a low miles rare red one.

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock What are you betting against 981 Boxster R? Options list special, launched in an unusual colour. Badged GTS potentially. Almost inevitable.
one with bespoke custom humps again I very much doubt. there will be a Cayman GTS car I would say but a long way off atm. they will always make Options list specials, but most are pants and bits thrown at them from the parts bin.

ORIGINAL: daro911 Have any of you got the similar fault inside the rear boot where the manual lid stay seems to rub away a spot of paint and no matter how many times I touch it back in the area damage reappears[&o] damage seems to be done by the rear fixing point on the stay arm

I see where you mean now Daro and what's causing it. I don't have any such contact there. I think something must be out of line on yours. Maybe some kind of washer is needed so that the stay arm doesn't go so deeply though the mounting point on the rear deck, so that it doesn't go through far enough to catch on the body... [/quote] My nephews car has the identical fault[&o]

One with humps possibly at the end of the 981 model life which is a long way from now[&o] Boxster & Cayman GTS coming (maybe at facelift time) In the meantime we will still be driving a very unique limited edition model that causes heads to swivel on a regular basis[8D]

ORIGINAL: jdpef356 More letters on the back in this mock up than in a dictionary![;)] Brian You will have to work on you man re side scripts. How about removing the PORSCHE and replacing with SPYDER something along the lines you had your number plate done?
Seeing him on Sunday at our Concours show and will ask the question and maybe he could make up a FOC sample just to fit the door only bit .I am sure i saw a Spyder script in his web site . Have you not removed the Boxster script from the boot yet ?
You can see the Spyder script on the side of this one. Looks a bit shouty imho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhRjeyCcLwo

I was thinking that the script would be the same size as the Porsche logo ,not sure if it will look in proportion but will ask the guy if he could do it . I think the RED SPYDER in the clip is way to in your face

Great to meet you today John and your racing RED Spyder is certainly a mint example Great day at Silverstone and for once the weather forecast was the total opposite to predicted when I set off at the crack of dawn which should have been as above from 11.00am onwards instead I got fried to bits and not a drop of rain in site[8D]

It would appear (no longer on Pistonheads) OPC East London's 20k mile Spyder with right chairs wrong gears right colour and extremely high list price for mileage has been sold[&o]

Spyder arrives. Finally after 5 week wait my Spyder was picked up yesterday from OPC Edinburgh yesterday. Loving it so far, only caught once in rain with hood down so it was a fast learning curve in getting it up. DVLA didn't manage to get number transferred in a 5 week period but nothing new or unexpected there. Spec of Spyder is Black Carrera Sport Wheels Bi-Xenon with dynamic cornering lights Red instrument dials Painted headlamp cleaning syst covers PCM plus telephone module PDK Sound package plus Sport Chrono plus PSE Buckets Not missing the 997 GT3 RS one bit at the moment! I will try and put some photographs on but last time I tried they were tiny, can someone give me an easy step lesson on how to get full size photographs on? Kenny Spyder

Hi Kenny. Congrats on the new toy and I know of another GT3RS 996 owner who made the same switch with zero regrets so will be keen to lern your feelings after you have done some mileage In the meantime the following was given to me when asking the BIG picture question but basically you need a web based account so I got a flickr one and then its plain sailing. If you get stuck email me the pictures and I will post them up or you When you're writing your post. There are some button just above the space you're typing in. Click the image button. Another window pops up and you paste the link to your picture there. The link has to be a web link i.e. you have to upload your pics to a photo sharing site such as flickr (which i've never done before either, but its easy). Then when they're on your photo sharing site, set the pic at it's largest (in flickr you right-click and choose large). Then you right click on the pic and select 'Copy URL' i.e. you're copying the web location of the picture, not the overall web page you are viewing your picture in on flickr. You then paste this URL into the pop window on the forum site. Phew!! GO TO FLICKR ENLARGE PICTURE COPY URL PORSCHE FORUM CLICK ON “IMAGE” PASTE YRL IN BETWEEN “IMAGE” PREVIEW AND PICTURE SHOULD APPEAR [;)]

ORIGINAL: kenneth ritchie will email them to you daro911 as with my IT skills that could take me at least 2 days Kenny Spyder
