Well done Brian and you must have maxed out the number of Spyders in Scotland in one event [:D] Kenny emailed me the pics but sadly he must have used very low meg camera as they weren't good on my computer at all[&o] Glad to hear it is a cracking finish after all the work I am sure it had done to remove the swirls like only a dark colour can produce Look forward to your pics just email them to me or flat6 and we can do the upload for you

ORIGINAL: daro911 Without seeing this Spyder in the flesh it sounds like their might be more to it failure to sell than meets the eye despite the missing alloys, silver paint and of course the buckets[:D]
ORIGINAL: jdpef356 Yet a Silver Spyder came into the PC Cambridge showroom last year and two customers were fighting over on a Saturday morning before it even got onto the web site or the forecourt. I got to hear about it on the Monday and went to see what all the fuss was about only to find the customer had paid and collected the gone. Gone - quicker than you can say Jack Robinson![;)][;)]
I agree. Any Spyder with it's spec is worth decent money and there must be something off-putting when seeing the car in the metal.

ORIGINAL: kenneth ritchie Just catching up after a few days away, love the mirrors Siy, was thinking of doing this to mine in silver now after seeing what yours looks like I will definitely be getting mine done. Spyder now up to standard after some severe removal of swirl marks and minor scratches which IMO always show up worse on black cars. see below if I am successful in loading them up Kenny spyder

Looks really really good even in these small pics. I used to think black didn't emphasise the Spyder's lines, but when you get a sheen like that it's as good as any other colour, plus you get, as Robk says, that stealthy look, which no other colour can give you[:)].

ORIGINAL: Andy Fagan Just did my wheels with the Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel cleaner. The results speak for themselves:- Very pleased with that [:D]
Let's see them on the car now buddy. A set of black spokes standing out against a clean light grey background is what finishes off a white car IMHO[;)]

thanks flat 6, very pleased with the car now, if you can give me your email address I will send you some higher quality pics Kenny spyder

Strange thing about those wheels imo It's had 3 sets of tyres already looking at the weights sticky which is left over !!! I find that quite odd on a low miles car.

Well done indeed Brian - with all your good publicity Porsche cars ought to be striking an award for you[;)] Just love the colour of this car - with a Red interior would have been my number one colour for Spyder. I know its been said before but shy didn't they make the Spyder colour range more colorful. Like the 964RS. Which colour would you have ordered?[&:]

I hope you take the Spyder on the BoNess hill climb[8D] I'm not aware of OPC's down here organising such events... Our local OPC does support our regional events though and we do have one of our club nights at the dealership which is very good of them[:)]

Sorry Brian I am still catching up and will upload the 'Porsche in the Glen' pics next. I trust those aren't pay and display parking stickers on your windows in the below pics! I also assume that you and your Spyder are in the red balloon?:ROFLMAO:

Question is Why won't it sell? Anyone seen it? Four other Spyders at Porsche Centre and average price of one would be £40.625.
Have just spotted Swindon have the twin spec car for £37850.00 4200 miles same age same wheels same colour same full leather heated chairs same age 03/10 but the 14k miler has a good few more option boxes ticked so is exceptional value compared to its 4k mile twin I would guess Porsche HQ ordered them up as a pair of stock cars in what would have been a very desirable spec at the time[&o]
