Very good - Interesting stuff. I went on the Bentley factory tour with Region 6 a few months ago and that was a good day out for sure.

Thanks to Flat 6 our photo editor .[
] This was our annual Scottish regional concourse held at Blair Atholl Castle in Perthshire off the A9 about 35 miles from Perth . We had a glorious day for it the sun shined as you can see . It was nice to see two Spyders in attendance .as you can see our cars looked great and where well admired by the tourists who flocked to the castle as well as the members . We had approx 40 cars in attendance you can see Kenny and I in the picture . Kenny won 1st place in the Boxster Cayman section and you can see him with his spoils His car is stunning and the paintwork is like glass it had been detailed just after he bought it by www.tlcdetailing.co.uk and you can see the results in the photo with my cars reflection on the door . So that is the car shows over for another year don't know what i will do at the weekends now ........ [

Great Pics - both cars look fantastic and it looks like you had a great weather for the day in a lovely location. It also looks like you had a very good range of cars from marque with the 914 and the early 356 A in attendance. Must say my first choice colour for Spyder is Red but if one had not come up would have settled for Black which was a close second. I think despite what some others had said previously on here re Black would still be a great colour to have. You can't argue with that when you look at Kenny's car![8D] I can see you two taking the PCGB 2014 National concours awards next year[
] Note: You are both 'Spydermen' and not 'Boxster Spydermen'
Excellent pictures Brian and even though KR won the prize your 2 cars both look stunning side by side ...well done for attending so many shows in 2013 and have you decided it is time to break the chain and make your Spyder a "keeper"[ORIGINAL: flat6 It's all happening in Scotland. Over to Brian and Kenny to provide the narrative[]

And after that, Oulton Park, 23rd October, PCGB £200. Myself and Andy Fagan will definitely be there and hopefully flat6. It would be brilliant if others could attend too.
Daro. I think as the 'last 2 cars' this is the strongest line-up we've ever had. A white one with everything someone wanting a comfort spec would want (I expect Dyllan would be on it if he wasn't still building his castle[
] ) A rare red one priced very keenly. Was chatting to Silverstone the other day & that car came up in conversation. They previously sold it to a lady a year ago so they know the car well.
Were you impressed with the two cars in the pics above - I was![8D] If you would like to be in a little Black number like Kenny's above see - fresh to market:- http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/boxster-987-05-12/2011-porsche-boxster-s-black-edition-pdk-and-one-owner-amazing-specification/1717021 But the Black car above with high miles and for almost the same price you could have a lovely Red one likes Brian's. The Red car at Silverstone car looks even a bigger bargain with only 14K on the clock[

12 months & 3 weeks since posting on here [
] we are now down to a record low number of Spyders available today just 5 / 237 out there looking for a new home So after 42 month since its introduction on the UK market most cars are now with their possible long term owners [8D] Next month there will probably be a record high for sale ![ROFL :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Would be interesting exercise to see if your unique specification could attract the same retail price that the unique Aqua Blue PDK car fetched back in the summer which was a good £2k more than the car was sold for by 911V at the beginning of the year One thing to seriously consider is once sold you could never come back to the party in such a unique example something that the guy who use to run a Spyder forum in USA found to his cost having sold his PTS Riviera car and then returning sometime later with a more common Silver exampleORIGINAL: MrDemon tempting to put it up at a high price to see if any one wants it.

] or for a prospective buyer [
] I suspect there a few around and not sold apart from the ones noted on here . It is likely that prices will fall a bit at this time of year with stock lying around who is going to buy a Spyder now unless at the right deal so dealers are going to discount to sell . Who knows how the markets will go but with the car trade supposedly buoyant things hopefully will only go one way [
]. Brian
It's a good point daro. I'm getting cold feet about letting mine go. Very rarely does one come up exactly as I would like and as the mileages go up, I know that mine has my own careful miles[ORIGINAL: daro911 Would be interesting exercise to see if your unique specification could attract the same retail price that the unique Aqua Blue PDK car fetched back in the summer which was a good £2k more than the car was sold for by 911V at the beginning of the year One thing to seriously consider is once sold you could never come back to the party in such a unique example something that the guy who use to run a Spyder forum in USA found to his cost having sold his PTS Riviera car and then returning sometime later with a more common Silver example![]()
