If you look at the ones made for Elises, they have very neat attaching points. They wouldn't need much modification for them to fit Spyders (although obviously they'd need to be bigger!)ORIGINAL: daro911Do you mean like this[ORIGINAL: ted walker Does anyone make an additional "shower cap" for the Spyder as you can get for the Lotus Elise ??????] Â

I had an elemental shower cap on my Elise, it was a great addition to the car, the hassle involved with an S1 roof made it invaluable! I am not sure if he has retired, but they were made by a guy from his home/workshop in Preston. If there were enough of you interested he might be able to come up with a solution? http://www.shower-cap.com/html/index.php No connection to elemental, just a happy customer!
Guys my shower cap does the job perfectly in that it takes about 30 seconds to fit and is nice and snug once on for circa £41.92 incl VAT [&o] I use it when I am out and don't 100% trust the forecast as a shower looks possible ... to date I can say it has never been used in anger[ORIGINAL: Siy I would be interested

Ted ... Welcome to our corner of the w.w.w. and what spec will your new Spyder be and what did you come from to get to a SPYDER[ORIGINAL: ted walker Yes just like that !!! I now know where to get it. Hope to collect my Spyder next week .
what the PCGB events all about then ? My issue is I am busy and hence motor sport comes down the list due to time not at home, hence looking at this new Midlands hill climb series to stay local. But I would rather do sprints than hill climbs. Donny is my local track and yes I am not on the pace at all atm (5 seconds off where I want to be) in the Porsches due to a few reasons. well 3 tyres, geo, balls. But as you track your R you will see PSM is quite clever and it knows you want to drift as long as the car is not crazy out of shape. (well not drift but get on the power early which might cause a little drift) Donnington has no crazy tight bends so PSM seems to know you are okORIGINAL: Andy FaganSo does this mean you are not getting the car to near it's limit at DP? [ORIGINAL: MrDemon it does not do it at Donnington for example,] [

Why not do the PCGB speed championship and we can compare notes!!just thinking if I do hill climbs in the car next year a few of the turns are very tight
Daro I would be interested in buying one of these - However, You say trust its for wet weather but have never had to use! No good owning one if you don't know if it works[8|] I wonder would you please be so kind to take your care outside with the cap on and turn the hose on it.[:-] I trust you will report back your findings [ORIGINAL: daro911Guys my shower cap does the job perfectly in that it takes about 30 seconds to fit and is nice and snug once on for circa £41.92 incl VAT [&o]  I use it when I am out and don't 100% trust the forecast as a shower looks possible ... to date I can say it has never been used in anger[ORIGINAL: Siy I would be interested]  I took these pictures to show it to someone who was interested but I don't usually have it on in my queens garage [link=http://www.classicadditions.com/waterproof-half.html]http://www.classicadditions.com/waterproof-half.html[/link]

Haha - yes... ditto!!! I would be interested getting one of these - means I will use the car more often if I have a quick solution to parking up when the sky is grey! I would however be happier with one that uses the original red catches to secure on the hump lid (if you know what I mean).... not so keen on scratch potential around the rear arch - have you had any prob with that?
Yes I've been watching this, but if it's like most other Motorsport he aint going to tell [ORIGINAL: MrDemon John Yates Cayman R fastest Porsche at Goodwood John Yates Cayman R Fastest Porsche at Blyton Park Sprint mmmm does any one know this John Yatescould be worth a chat to him regarding what he has done to his car so far.

Previous cars inc MK1 GT3 C -Sport .Last car Aston V8 Vantage. Wanted a Spyder but Aston came along, but very happy to have now found one in right spec ie no silly exras such as heated seats etc.
Went to Demon Tweeks today and saw some OZ Ultraleggera 19" wheels which I'm going to order. I was also tempted by the new Yokohama A08R tyres which are supposed to be an improved compound above the A08ORIGINAL: Fire_2 TrackDay wheels, Been offered some Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.3 18x8.5 5x130 ET52 (Front) 19x10 5x130 ET65 (Rear) I suspect the front will be ok offset wise, but the rear looks very wide? would have to balance it out via bigger front wheel spacers or look for a different wheel with standard offsets?coming in around 11kg front and 11.7kg rear.![]()
Siy there is no reason why you can't modify the wheel arch elastic (cut enough off) and tie the remainder to the red hooks or just add some nice suitable material to tie to red hooks [ORIGINAL: Siy Haha - yes... ditto!!! would they do us a good price on two sets? what colour you going for? all correct offsets? I wouldn't mind a winder stance with no spacers... at least on the front?!ORIGINAL: Andy FaganWent to Demon Tweeks today and saw some OZ Ultraleggera 19" wheels which I'm going to order. I could ask. The rears won't be made until near end of Oct (19 x 10) I'm going for the black, they're a lot cheaper for some reason but prob would have gone for them in any case as mine OE wheels are blackORIGINAL: Fire_2would they do us a good price on two sets? what colour you going for? all correct offsets?
