Not for me. Stealth look of black badge on black car works well. If Porsche wouldn't let your car leave the factory like that, there's a reason. For those that delete the Boxster badge from their rear end - do you change the Boxster Spyder sticker above the glovebox or the door scuff plates too?ORIGINAL: gouldian kenny - Get the "Spyder" painted red to match the Brembos it goes well on black and picks up rear light colour as well.
On some vehicles there is a separate (Valet) key which will only operate the doors and start the car, it wont allow the boot or personal areas to be accessed, but never seen it on a Porsche [&:]ORIGINAL: billy1Interesting - wonder what "courtesy vehicle function" is?ORIGINAL: daro911 Anyone looking for a cracking spec Spyder?[][

I keep changing my mind about this. I think I want to take the Boxster bit off as I think the car sounds better when you just say Spyder, plus people then don't know it's a Boxster. but on the other hand, people then think you are ashamed to be in a Boxster. tuff call, so atm mine is the full name, it is a Boxster Spyder after all. If I were to take it off I would buy a new full badge to store and put back on in the future, if the car goes classic people are very badge/spec anal.ORIGINAL: Big E[ORIGINAL: MrDemon even the miles are the same, (runs to check garage)][
] On the badge subject, I'll be sneaking Mrs BigE's hairdryer and dental floss out at the weekend and removing the "Boxster" (and of course re centering the Spyder) I'll report on any increased performance from the extensive weight saving.......

Hmm, according to ad it is 'one owner', so if a press car how can that be? Thought it looked very similar to Mr D's car. although I have had sports mode retro fitted. Most of the launch reviews are not my car, in fact I can only find Autocar using it for a 90 second quick review vid. I guess Porsche need a mirror spec press back up car, and I think that's what mine was. I have seen this car for sale before about 2.5 years ago. so that's 3 of us who think Billy does not own one now then lol

Especially of the owner thinks it is centred [ORIGINAL: flat6 A different take on it de-badging. I suppose a lot of cars have the badge to one side, but it's typical for a Porsche to be centred. This is a club member's car so if it's not to your tastes, comments should be respectful.![]()
