Creativity is good but even better when it follows some form imho. is it logical to put '987' on the car? The 'type' number of a model has never been on a Porsche as far as I know (haven't checked, happy to be corrected). You can get a 911 badge for a 911, but the car is called a '911'. You don't get a [type] 997 badge to put on it. Our car's name is Boxster. A 918 Spyder 's name is '918 Spyder' (it may also be type 918, but 918 is its name). Would've been nice for Porsche to call our car a type 987 Spyder alongside the type 987 Boxster alongside the type 987 Cayman. All 3 are almost identical apart from the rear end and roof, so could've separated it from Boxster as much as they felt justified to separate the coupe, rather than calling it Boxster coupe. Oh well... I've left the full badge in tact including the badge on the dash and on the sill[ORIGINAL: daro911 http://www.designstuffonline.co.uk/vehicle_graphics/model_make_specific/porsche/porsche_987_boxster_decals.html![]()

Thought it looked very similar to Mr D's car. I had already sent Barbara a mail asking for more details will see what I get back.![]()

] Though surely if it was Porsche cars selling it, then it would go through a OPC? Not 'Barbara of Kent'. That makes two owners

I'm trying to work out who's who in that pic. Obviously the one on the far left is Siy, as he likes gold. Perhaps the one in RED is Kitchens. And Mr D is the "modded" one on the far right?ORIGINAL: daro911 Babs is from KENTRob this is Essex

daro911 is the big fan of aqua blue - he can have the one third on the right then they are all spoken for!ORIGINAL: billy1 I'm trying to work out who's who in that pic. Very good. [ORIGINAL: VvrooomM The one on the left looks heavy on options, the red one has the wrong wheels/boots but otherwise looks the lightweight option. They've probably all got twin pipes but whether they have a sports exhaust is anyone's guess.

Agree, on thinking about it I like the black on black and the stealth look it gives the car, did consider changing Spyder badge to red a few weeks ago but thought it would look slightly 'tacky' Not as easy removing Boxter from sills or glovebox so will have to live with that. Kenny SpyderORIGINAL: rob.kellockNot for me. Stealth look of black badge on black car works well. If Porsche wouldn't let your car leave the factory like that, there's a reason. For those that delete the Boxster badge from their rear end - do you change the Boxster Spyder sticker above the glovebox or the door scuff plates too?ORIGINAL: gouldian kenny - Get the "Spyder" painted red to match the Brembos it goes well on black and picks up rear light colour as well.

ORIGINAL: daro911No .... When you have the factory rear badge delete option they still leave the interior stickers in situ [ORIGINAL: rob.kellockFor those that delete the Boxster badge from their rear end - do you change the Boxster Spyder sticker above the glovebox or the door scuff plates too?ORIGINAL: gouldian kenny - Get the "Spyder" painted red to match the Brembos it goes well on black and picks up rear light colour as well.] How cool would this Spyder badge look on a black Spyder[
] That does look good Kenny Spyder

Yes have to agree but not my choice - Why didn't they use a colour Chart like this one from the seventies for the Spyder? Your Choice - what colour would yours be?ORIGINAL: daro911 Great colour for a Spyder PTS![]()
