There was a couple of spiders in the garage if it helps [:-]
They don't look right without the stripes!ORIGINAL: jdpef356 New page new spyder pic - a naked one[]
Mine were painted aftermarket by the previous owner and have the wider band and are Basalt black, without the silver/grey interior. I must admit that I would prefer them to be factory spec, but they still look great!ORIGINAL: kitchens Kenny's wheels have 18/20 mm silver band where as the Spyder wheels have 6mm band . Look nice to the untrained eye are no different to the Spyder ones... If you look all the other Spyder and Cayman R wheels painted black all have a narrow band of silver on them.
No side stripe looks all wrong IMO and won't help the sale [:'(]ORIGINAL: jdpef356 New page new spyder pic - a naked one[]Currently on sale at Dovehouse Motors
Worst joke of the year coming up - Look away now or don't read on. ---------------------------------------------------- This Spyder can't be a Trade Sale! Why cant it? Because its a Private - it has no stripes! I DID WARN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![][][][][]ORIGINAL: daro911No side stripe looks all wrong IMO and won't help the sale [:'(]ORIGINAL: jdpef356 New page new spyder pic - a naked one[]Currently on sale at Dovehouse Motors
Yep Boxster S, Cayman S and Carrera black editions. I wonder why they didn't choose the Careers S. Also it didn't get an extra power like how the boxster S and Cayman S blacks took on the Spyder and R engine tunes respectively.ORIGINAL: jdpef356 But we do have a Boxster S Black edition http://www.porsche.com/microsite/black-edition/usa.aspx?model=boxster

Supplied new on car or so I was told byOPC who sold the car new, thanks for putting me right on the 'Black Edition' not being on the Spyder, looks like I have been wrong on this one. Kenny SpyderORIGINAL: daro911So were they painted after market? I like the rim left in silver only and would definitely do that to mine if i was in the market for a refinishORIGINAL: kitchens Kenny's wheels have 18/20 mm silver band where as the Spyder wheels have 6mm band . Look nice to the untrained eye are no different to the Spyder ones
Erm, 73kg shirley?
Tks..at last a Spyder on the weigh bridge to get an idea of real world weight......About as expected, as in not really that light!....Regulations see to that. I would have expected the pccb car without roof to come in slightly lower, as an ultimate spec car without the roof. Great cars all the same![]
