This is another option although I doubt it is cheaper[&o] Wowever, at least with this one you get the looks plus an engine 3.2 which will push you along. Take a look at the website http://www.paul-stephens.com/PS-Classic-Touring-Series-II/car5299 They also have s Spyder which they ran near the front of the Silverstone classic 911x911 parade/ http://www.paul-stephens.com/ps-autoart-spyder No so keen on the spyder but do like the Classic Touring Series.

Referee ...... no longer a Porsche []ORIGINAL: jdpef356 New page new pic - so it might as well be the car mentioned above the PS Spyder
Whatever it is, I don't really like it. The touring model John linked to is much more attractive but the write up says that build costs were over £165000. For that you could have an approved used sub 10k miles TDV8 Range Rover, a Boxster Spyder and change for a 997.2 GT3. That would cover most bases for me. I could even fit the Spyder and the GT3 in the garage without any need for an extension.
Top Trumps http://www.gtclassics.co.uk/NEW%20Car%20Sales.htm now we are smoking[] 1170kg and 470.6 BHP at 1,3bar!ORIGINAL: rob.kellock It's £50 grand!!! The colour may be original but doesn't suit the concept at all. It needs to be lairy. 1000kg and 200bhp - Spyder would leave it for dust at 1275kg and 320bhp? I do like the concept though, a light weight old skool 911 is very covetable.
Well played!! Mind you the 964 RSR underneath it is magnificent.
Indeed he does !!! btw: That spec almost works except ..... why black dials ??ORIGINAL: daro911 This page needs a reminder which forum folk are in
Top Trumps For 50 grand you could get a 997.1 turbo. Despite its 1600kg it's 480HP would leave it for dust and its 680Nm could reverse the Earth' rotation (as Clarkson would say)[] Still a little bit old school too[]ORIGINAL: rob.kellock It's £50 grand!!! It's lovely too ....ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Well played!! Mind you the 964 RSR underneath it is magnificent.
Bit out of my league sadly. Not trying too hard either, unlike some of these dodgy Spyder combos above!
Sorry Ref I should have know better! I have done further research and no doubt about this ones credentials! A definite Porsche, and its a Spyder! You may well be tempted Nick - the interior is right down your street and will blow you away![] For further details and photos of this Porsche Spyder see:-- http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C301044#ORIGINAL: Nick_USAReferee ...... no longer a Porsche []ORIGINAL: jdpef356 New page new pic - so it might as well be the car mentioned above the PS Spyder
No. [] Not on a Spyder. But I would quite like it on a luxury spec 981 / Cayman - I seem to remember there was a very dark metallic (purple?) Cayman at the launch at Bolton with that interior and it worked well. Drove mine for the first time in a while yesterday - you forget how good they are. John, that 924 abomination needs leaving in the same place as your Spyderwoman, never to be seen again!ORIGINAL: flat6 Do you like this one Rob?[8|]
