This sounds like our Spyder/R could well be replaced at the end of the current flat 6 981 life cycle which would be classic Porsche limited edition run-out like they usually do with 911's / Speedsters[&o] The dilemma would then be buy another Spyder / R with the traditional flat 6 or go new world order Turbo 4 pot!

the gts is the runout model likewise the 997.2 gts and any future spyder/r is 2 years away and will be 981.2 flat 4 turbo! so buy a gts if you want the last flat6 cayman/boxster.using the flat 4 turbo with more power than a 911 doesnt step on flat6 911 toes

But he says the Turbo 4 will be in the NEXT Gen Boxster/Cayman not the current 981 Gen 1 which presumably gets mid life facelift 2016 and replaced with 982 circa 2019[&o]

I think you're probably right daro. It'll be a lonnnnng time before we see 395HP in our cars - it's good to know though. Four cylinder turbo. Hmmmmm, sounds familiar[8|]
