I'd have to crop it and then host it. Easier if zyp supplies a pic if he wants one in.

Spyderwhite, your pic is no longer available...

I've tried uploading a pic of mine (and my Spyder, fnarr) but it's too big ( fnarr again...). Haven't a clue how to get it smaller than 42kb...

Well, that's a bit of a pathetically sized pic ! ^^^

Ok, I'm not quite getting the hang of this.... I'm blaming Innis & Gunn.

ORIGINAL: flat6 I think you're probably right daro. It'll be a lonnnnng time before we see 395HP in our cars - it's good to know though. Four cylinder turbo. Hmmmmm, sounds familiar[8|]
firstly excuse me i have just come from the pub! some of us need to understand porsche cycles! we are mid way 981 cycle so the gts is the mid waypoint and the runout 981.1! the next gen will be the 981.2 which we now know will be 4 pot and will be 2016 model year arriving mid 2015 with which if porsche make an r/spyder will come 2018/9 and will be 4 pot.as for steping on 911 toes and having 395 bhp there is not aproblem as one is flat6 and one is flat4 turbo.so 395 bhp is just around the corner but in f4 turbo form.audi ttrs anyone!!

I had the TTRS is was a great car and a simple remap gave it 420Bhp 40-60mph was 1.2 seconds a ton in 8.5 seconds. And inside an Audi is sweet. The 5 pot engine is also awesome. So yes I am looking forward to seeing the new mk3 Audi TTRS

Cleaning day today. I'm going to try a few ideas on the exhaust tips, however I wont be cleaning my wheels like this!

As this is what they did between 987/997 Gen 1 & Gen 2 I see what you are saying could be the way the forward .... So a 981.2 will come in two flavours presumably standard & S and the hot shots with the 395bhp sometime between them and the all new next models 982 etc[&o]

A faster 981/982 could take over from the 911 as it becomes a GT style car, the rear engine is struggling against the most recent batch of its competitors and I believe a fast Cayman would be quicker round a track than a 911 with a similar engine etc. There is an interesting video on Youtube showing a Spyder against a GT3, on a track, the GT3 goes away on the straights and the spyder catches it at the corners. Problem is I don't think you can get 911 GT3 performance from 4 cylinders yet so I still think they need a 6 cylinder and mid engined car to take over from the fast 911s to compete against the like of the Nisan GTR. I can but live in hope!

Should have said the Youtube video is "Porsche Boxster Spyder VS 997GT3 MK2 Circuit Paul Richard"

Absolutely, but even making allowances the GT3 looks a handful in the corners unless the driver is very, very poor. Dynamically a flat engine in a mid engined car, properly put together, has to be as good as it gets.

This looks interesting if we want to start a little friendly side wager[:D] 4 Spyders currently for sale .. The 880 mile Leeds very late White high spec PDK with a price tag to match £46k Then we have another £42k+ White even higher spec PDK but with the very RED interior not to mention the White customised dial cases and door pull surrounds The final White Spyder has almost zero options other than the radio, white dials and short shift and a price tag of just under £36k Final Spyder is a Black example with great options but sadly also a Cat D classification and priced at £32k! Anyone private seller with a mint non Cat D example would probably have little trouble getting that sort of money considering what is available today £46k £42k £36k and £32k[&o] My money is going to go on the late expensive Leeds OPC Spyder followed by the basic spec 911 V £36k and then it's a toss up between the very RED / White PDK or the expensive IMO Cat D

My money is on the 911v car. Can't understand why it hasn't sold yet, particularly as it used to belong to someone on here who said it was in great order.

Wow! I've a lot of catching up to do on here[:)] Just popping in to mention that my Spyder is now up for sale here http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=819908 [&o] Will catch up on the forum tomorrow [;)]
