Ferrari, a school boy dream for us all. It is the service and maintenance costs that stops me from buying one but would love a 430ORIGINAL: MrDemonNot a very good outlook to have, I never say never and even at school wanted a Ferrari, it's only the attitude in the UK stopping me buying my dream car as I would loose clients and get even more shitty comments than I do already driving a Porsche. I am a I.T eng and do ok praise the lord mind you but again it's this comment which is flawed "he wouldn't hesitate in buying that if he had the money" As I said the most common of comments which if they did have the money they prob would not buy it still and go and buy a Focus RS or some thing.I happened to have an IT engineer in my office yesterday , The engineer explained how he could never afford a Porsche

What about the white one in the background [] Can't fault this blue car. If I was being picky I'd say it'd look better with the side stripe in silver and likewise the wheels[].ORIGINAL: daro911 Fresh Spyder For Sale [] 987 Boxster Spyder PDK with sports steering wheel and paddle shift. Flat6 - get it bought!!!!
If it happens make sure you have the kodak armed and ready to record this major gathering []ORIGINAL: MrDemon 5 Spyders due at Morgan on Sunday Could be a new record in one place.
Looking at cars every day like I do, I think I am keeping mine and saving hard. The next car to be seen in and be worth having has to be the new p13. Unless the new R arrives and is 380bhp then I will have to sell up for the p13. Might get my letter of intent in tomorrow just in case, the cars bound to have a waiting list at 120k. Only other car which seems to have shed 40k in a blink of an eye is the r8 v10plus 550 Bhp seems great value 2nd hand. But the v10 drinks the fuel. P13 v6 turbo, 450bhp , rwd sounds a bit nice to me. Wonder when the specs will be public.
[][][] Thanks Tom! Most amusing. That'll be us then LOLORIGINAL: daro911 Fresh Spyder For Sale [] The car is well known amongst the Spyder fraternity.
Have to admit Rob it is a VERY tempting prospect. I think a Spyder that starts with a £3X,XXX would suit me better so I can use the car freely. Currently top of my wish list http://youtu.be/6YirFpmAftc Tiptronic not an option for me though. http://youtu.be/kK8n05qmhAMORIGINAL: rob.kellock Flat6 - get it bought!!!!
Special car that one. I'm a Firestarter etc. MrD if there are going to be 5 Spyders at the Pistonheads Sunday Service, I bet there will be some more at Cornbury House for the PCGB AGM from 11am - just an hour away... Mine will be one of them.
Must admit the Blue car looks good, I have only one picky - it would look better if it was Red![:-][] P.S. Fill your Boots Daro - there must be a deal to be done with this the car of your dreams - Third time lucky[]ORIGINAL: flat6 Can't fault this blue car. They tried to take on the Italian prancing horse and at first attempts missed by a country mile and have only just closed the gap significantly but are yet to get ahead [&o] Will history repeat itself when they try and tackle the Germans One thing for sure with so few dealers maintenance will struggle to match or beat what we are all use too but it's nice to see a young British sports car maker giving the old boys a run for their money at long last [8D][] WHAT IT IS: An "entry-level," mid-engined McLaren two-seater with aspirations of taking on the Porsche 911. Its code name is P13. WHY IT MATTERS: The company that built the benchmark F1 supercar nearly 20 years ago, the sublime 12C, and dozens of F1 racers over the decades has created rather lofty expectations. PLATFORM: The same basic carbon-fiber tub and aluminum substructure architecture as used in the 12C. POWERTRAIN: The 12C's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 will return, though detuned to approximately 450 horsepower. COMPETITION: Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 Carrera S. WHAT MIGHT GO WRONG: Lots. The P13 has to perform as well—plus be as practical and cost the same—as the upper-end Carreras. That three-legged stool will spontaneously combust if everything isn't perfect. ESTIMATED ARRIVAL AND PRICE: It'll be priced to compete with well-equipped 911s. In today's dollars that's around $120,000. However, the market price may balloon by 2016, the earliest we expect to see it.ORIGINAL: MrDemon Looking at cars every day like I do, I think I am keeping mine and saving hard. The next car to be seen in and be worth having has to be the new p13.
flat6 that car has taken the big hit on the depreciation and we have seen these cars in year 4 are selling for more than they did in year 3 You can easily buy a great spec 981 S for less money than a used Spyder today so using this low miles minter freely i.e. 4K miles p.a. shouldn;t be an issue to consider especially with something so unique and rare today. I bet there are far fewer Aqua Spyders v any other colour combo out there and that car with it's black stripe and wheels is possibly one of one! AT £39999.00 what can deliver anything close in the thrills and spills department and be maintained for BMW/Audi/Merc money if that[]ORIGINAL: flat6Have to admit Rob it is a VERY tempting prospect.
