Back to Spyders.... Will be interesting if the OPC's remain bare of Spyders for a couple of weeks. It didn't last long last time. Let's see what price they put on the next one. There are some OPC's that really know their Spyders and what bold price to try next...

Back from a very enjoyable long weekend in the South West of Scotland .We were based in Port Patrick a lovely little harbor town, on a clear day you can see Belfast .The weather gods where good to us but on the Friday night it was coming down in stair rods (Daro911 would have had a heart attack seeing the car get wet )[][] and not one drop entered the car so talk about these roofs not being waterproof is wrong. The hood was down 90% of the weekend as it got to a dizzy 15deg We visited Mull of Galloway lighthouse where the views are spectacular and then down to Whitehorn again stunning and you can clearly see the Isle of Man 22 miles away Will get pics posted up as soon as my man receives them Downside spent the last 4 hours cleaning it as there area lot of farm roads down there enough said []

It is probably easier just to phone Steve Kevlin (who is in charge) or Paul Grainger at Club office - 01608 652917 and do it all over the phone. PCGB is currently investing heavily in a new Digital Media Platform which is due to go live shortly and should vastly improve issues such as the one you have correctly identified! There were still some spaces left last week but the event was genuinely filling up fast. The Club is offering a 20% discount to members who have not booked a PCGB track day before. Last year there were also some concessions on price available to non-members that *may* still be available - if you ring the office and mention my name, you may get that preferential rate but I don't know for sure if Steve Kevlin is offering that again this year.

Highly recommended but some distance away from the circuit although well located if you want a cruise around the Evo Triangle area on the Friday. One small point - there is no petrol at the track so make sure you fill up beforehand - there is a Shell with V-power / optimax on the A55 after the Conway tunnels. I'll be staying with my Dad in Deganwy as it's his 70th birthday earlier in the week. The Quay hotel there will impress your better half but it's not cheap and, again, some distance away from the circuit.

Was intending to but been tempted into doing two other trackdays over the past couple of months so used up my Porsche GB insurance cover that's limited to two only. Does anyone have any suggestions for one off affordable trackday cover?

I'm with Manning and they cover for unlimited track days with recognized organizer or club, you don't even have to tell them. Excess is 10% of car value. Personal service over the phone rather than some call centre.
