Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Just skimming through the latest issue of Porsche Post to land on my door mat today. Inspiring words from new Regional Director Kellock on pages 7 and 55[:)] I didn't know what your first Porsche was[:)] Jamie Wilson's 997 on page 18. Who's is the Spyder on page 103? Will have a read of the pieces to commemorate 40 years of the 911 turbo. And there's plenty more of interest. Looks like a good edition[:)]

ORIGINAL: kitchens Back from a very enjoyable long weekend in the South West of Scotland .We were based in Port Patrick a lovely little harbor town, on a clear day you can see Belfast .The weather gods where good to us but on the Friday night it was coming down in stair rods (Daro911 would have had a heart attack seeing the car get wet )[:D][:D] and not one drop entered the car so talk about these roofs not being waterproof is wrong. The hood was down 90% of the weekend as it got to a dizzy 15deg We visited Mull of Galloway lighthouse where the views are spectacular and then down to Whitehorn again stunning and you can clearly see the Isle of Man 22 miles away Will get pics posted up as soon as my man receives them Downside spent the last 4 hours cleaning it as there area lot of farm roads down there enough said [:eek:]

My car has MANUAL transmission. In passing I have a friend with a very nice 930 Turbo that he has owned for over 10 years that wants a Spyder.
 
My R is Manual Carbon buckets Pse SC A/C Alcantara steering wheel Audio interface Spider wheels black No cup holders [:D][:D][:D]

Now added. Looks like more manual than PDK in our little sample of owners. A few more to record though. The real question is whether the supply and demand of manual is balanced and likewise if the supply and demand of PDK is balanced.

Thanks. I am awaiting some pics to come from the photo shoot with GT Porsche. Should be good ones if not I will have to get the camera out.[;)]
 
My car is PDK Here is a better photo, can you spot my guard cat? He always hangs around the Spyder when it's on the drive!

No, he's very well behaved.......he knows not to mess with the Spyder!! [:D]
