Apologies Mark, I didn't put 2 and 2 together there that you and Kellym1 are the same person Congrats you will be very happy with the new Spyder. There are quite a few photographs of the car on this thread but I'm not sure what the page numbers are. Kenny

Thanks guys for the congrats. Can't wait to get the chance to meet up with some of you. Kenny - thanks for indulging me with the questions. The car is superb. I am delighted to own her going forward. 5th Porsche I have owned over the years but this one is a keeper!

Silverstone and Leicester. the GT3 RS 4 was unused !!! seems a shame people buy these and never drive them or even have a go :-( I would take the GT2 RS, the guy owns 2 of them !!! GTS was the one I went to look at but did not come away thinking I wanted it which is good :) good to see a OPC spec a Boxster with Buckets in a out there colour also.

ORIGINAL: philnotts99 That be a nice collection of Blue, Green and White on your drive-way if you went for the GTS ;p
lol I would have to sell the R to buy one. The issue is I like the idea of the BHP in the GTS as it inc the power kit, but it's a bit soft and NOT a cut down GT3 in any way, The R is more hardcore and sits between the GT3 and GTS, So not for me. I'll stick for now and await the specs on this hot Cayman

I spotted a white Spyder heading north on the A1 this morning between Ferrybridge (M62) and the York turn (A64). Was it anyone from on here?

ORIGINAL: Siy My White one may be coming soon.... [:(] I am just not using it nearly enough as I would hope - as the kids are getting older, I am pretty much always going out with them both...and hence having to take my daily drive. Will be gutted as when I do get to go out and play - the smile it gives me is brilliant! Think am gonna have to go back to 911's again - so I can at least use it more often with them... Havent been on here so much in last couple months... but glad to see there are not too many around... Watch this space... (and yes it's a pdk!)... but at least it has buckets, sports chrono plus, spyder wheels air con and all the other beautiful heavy bits !
O/T but saw your old 430 Spider outside a pub in the New Forrest the other weekend.

hope it was nice and shiny... The guy I sold it to only kept it for 3 months.. and he knew that was going to be the case when he bought it - just a quick play!!! Was a fantastic car - but the Spyder is 90+% of it - without the added costs!

It did. The chap you sold it to sold it to 911virgin from where the new owner puchased it.

Thats a very interesting summary and 90%+ without the added costs, yearly servicing plus a to do list most Italians seem to have makes any desires for a 430 on my CV almost disappear in an instant [:D] I think I have spent too many years in one brand to now seriously consider a change/final fling[&o]
