Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

ORIGINAL: daro911
ORIGINAL: Siy hope it was nice and shiny... The guy I sold it to only kept it for 3 months.. and he knew that was going to be the case when he bought it - just a quick play!!! Was a fantastic car - but the Spyder is 90+% of it - without the added costs!
Thats a very interesting summary and 90%+ without the added costs, yearly servicing plus a to do list most Italians seem to have makes any desires for a 430 on my CV almost disappear in an instant [:D] I think I have spent too many years in one brand to now seriously consider a change/final fling[&o]
I wish we could have 90% of someone on here without the added annoyances!!

New Page New Pic Plenty of Spyders for sale today and this is just the weather for that impulse buyer to take the plunge[8D]

And another black one!!! lol http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405164250040/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/model/boxster/make/porsche/keywords/spyder/page/1/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/postcode/ng93eu/radius/1501?logcode=p

99% certain that mine will be going soon. Glorious day here - perfect in fact, just taken it out for the first time in 2 weeks and..... really didn't enjoy the drive. All a bit....meh... When it gets to that stage you know its time to part. One last chance tomorrow - a drive down to Worcester. This could seal it 100%!

Another cheap black one at that ... With so many low mileage examples out there really puts a dent in the residual on a 2011 example like this[&o]

I wish it was a owners only forum, cannot win them all ;-)

ORIGINAL: tyinsky Might take mine out without the roof later when the sun drops. To hell with looking like a posing poofter! [&o]
The car was designed to be run topless 24/7 and that's exactly how I have run both my Spyders since Feb 2011. I put the roof up on my first one last Christmas to experience the difference and make sure 2.6 years in the boot hadn't affected the look which it hadn't In the meantime my current one has "never" had it's suncap on since taking delivery in April 2011 and it is so neatly stowed I am yet to make sure the thing actually fits and clips to windscreen OK [:D]
