Did you go to bed last night Rob? Was it a Dark Bedroom? Any Nightmares? [:D][:D][:D][;)]

Slept like a baby thanks!! Enjoyed the cool air conditioning of the luxurious Cayman yesterday, Bluetooth music from my phone and 30mpg even when "making progress". It's not much less subtle either - amazingly people have been taking pictures of it pretty much every time its out. That's the grim north for you [:D]

Glad to here you are enjoying it Rob - If only you you could have an old fashioned tilt and slide sunroof option I might be tempted.

Don't think there would be anywhere for one to go - leaving the 991 option that looks a bit odd. Perhaps they should make a targa!!

How can you tell that - from the VIN?

ORIGINAL: zyp I thought Porsche build year started in Q3 each year, therefore a 2012 MY would be built after July 2011?
I believe it got moved to May when they sold their soul to VAG [&o]

Mmm, i have always been a lover of the Webasto sliding roof. I had one on a Lancia Fulvia many years ago.

Yes great taste on two counts Rocket man - Lancia - I had a Lancia HPE 2000! Webasto roof also a good choice. I recall at work in the seventies a guy would turn up in the works car park and turn your tin top into sunroof in a couple of hours! Great Stuff and about 50 squid if I recall correctly.

I will keep Rob talking, you take the tin snips to his roof. It will look the biz with a Webasto on it
