ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Valeted every 2 weeks is poor for a Spyder, most Spydermen never let their cars get put away dirty! Strong money for a private sale:- Hurrah!! :)
If it is as shiney as this one then he might get awy with claiming every 2 weeks [8D]

Ah - Its that left hooker shape. Four humps and the rear two that requires a BRA![;)]
Having blown up solid black Spyders wheels the insides and red callipers appear to be somewhat soiled from his 2 weekly valeter not trying hard enough [&o]

Disaster cityville as well as poorly prepped [] [link=http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201302165364843/sort/default/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_3_years_old/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/price-from/25000/model/boxster/make/porsche/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/cb45bx/saved-search-id/2c92962d3a4eee4e013a5d9f81340012/keywords/spyder/page/1/radius/1501?logcode=p]http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201302165364843/sort/default/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_3_years_old/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/price-from/25000/model/boxster/make/porsche/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/cb45bx/saved-search-id/2c92962d3a4eee4e013a5d9f81340012/keywords/spyder/page/1/radius/1501?logcode=p[/link]

Yes, those calipers are a disgrace! Still, a true Spyderman could use that as a sound base to recreate automotive perfection! Bit of TLC and it will be fine.

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Me too, sports exhaust would be the first option box ticked, no question! Car looking fab there flat6 - I wonder if anyone is anoraky enough to guess your neighbour's car from the little corner of light on display? Have to say, I am struggling!
Thanks Rob. I was beginning to forgot what open air driving was like[:D] That's a tough question from that little snippet. It's a Volvo S40

The legendary Spyder thread. Where it goes, no one knows! I nearly guessed Saab 9-5 so at least I was in the right part of Europe! Keep your roof down, only problem here is gritters out in force again so mine is staying tucked away tomorrow.

That serious shine enables black to show the lines of the car. There's no bad colours if it's looks after[:)]

You did good to get to Sweden[:D] Weather looks good for tomorrow so hopefully no grit round my way. Another topless day I think[;)]

Excellent start to the day. BMW was completely iced up on the drive this morning so came to work with a smile on my face!

You car looks out of place in that car park, as in, it looks too good! It was 3 degrees this morning, so I kept the suncap on but left the rear section out. It amazing how much less wind buffeting you get on the motorway without the screen.

flat6 as you know I am a 24/7 topless Spyderman except for a brief encounter recently (for fun) trying out the Sun Cap only .... Why would you actually need the scarf section in place, unless it was bucketing it down in which case you shouldn't be using the future classic car anyway [:D] If it creates a lot more wind buffeting why not travel as much as you can with just the sun cap [&o]

This is the before the bubble bath shot so expect to see an after all spick & span shot later :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Are you keeping the private plate or is it coming off eventually?

It is a tad conspicuous! Car park man guards it well - for some reason he thinks I am a Judge and he won't let anyone touch it! A work colleague backs in on one side of it and its at the end of the line so no risk of door dings. It is partly the reason I don't use it daily though. A beautiful zero degrees when I drove in topless.

That's good to know as you were certainly parked well over to one side Mr K [;)]

Can't disagree with you. I need to toughen up[:D] Yeah i'll keep the rear scarf off[;)] 0 degrees Rob! You da man![:D] Looks warmer where John is. He'll not have to learn how to put his roof back on just yet[;)] Maybe we're going topless more than those with power roofs[:D]

NO maybe about it Spyder owners HAVE to be topless lovers otherwise I think it is fair to say the compromises of the Sun Cap wouldn't be that bearable over 1000's of miles with the top on. Maybe this was why so many cars came to market shortly after the original owners got their priorities back on track and realised they wanted the roof up far more than down[:D] Just quizzing people at the gym on why they didn't have their roofs down nearly always results with a feeble reply about this that or the other! They have power tops that can go up and down in literally seconds but the owners concerned didn't bother pushing the button because etc etc etc

Interesting then that the UK is quite a large market for convertibles and yet they don't seem to put the roof down as much as they could in your experience. I applaud you for giving them a prod and surprised to learn that they make less effort than us to enjoy open air driving.
