[/quote] It would appear if your car doesn't have rear parking sensors the solution is "bumpettes" like our cousins fit on the otherside of the pond So far every USA bra less Porsche seems to be sensorless too[&o]ORIGINAL: daro911

Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Stop teasing me with all those lovely shots of your cars .....sadly as some on here know i will not be joining you yet . Can confirm that the 2 cars that where available have deposits taken one within 24 hrs of being seen and turned down by myself .Also heard that a deposit was taken on the OPC Silver one .So that will be another 2 White PDK under new ownership soon .Been waxing my Boxster today and to be honest glad in a way i still have it as it looks amazing in Speed Yellow. Can confirm after driving the Spyder it is amazing had reservations about the noise from the hood but perfectly acceptable even at *** and the bucket seats are also comfortable and easy to get in and out off by just pushing the seat all the way back. Will still follow the Spydermen thread
Good luck kitchens, the right car will come along in due course. Rob, I don't know how you do it with the photos - very impressive performance again! Whoever ordered red wheels on their yellow Cayman was clearly on drugs though!
Probably but not serious drugs otherwise he would have done the mirrors & side stripe to match the alloys [] This guy clearly wasn't on any drugs []ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Whoever ordered red wheels on their yellow Cayman was clearly on drugs though!
The Speed Yellow is great not everybody's taste .I saw a new 981 at the dealers on Sunday when looking at the Spyder and it is now called Race Yellow and it does not look as nice as SY looks a bit tinny looking ,as that was my first choice when looking at a 981 last year but could not justify the depreciation on a new car ,think it will be White or Red as my favorite now. . Brian Daro911. That car i saw was on Goodyear Eagle Tyres not your favorite i believe
daro911, you're doing a brilliant job on the visual entertainment [] kitchens, thanks for the update on the Wilmslow car. Could we soon see Spyders extinct at OPC's[:-] Well spotted on the parking sensors vs bumperettes daro. The US seem very behind in that regard. I won't be fitting bumperettes on mine for now[]. I do miss not having parking sensors though.
No I don't mind Eagles but other than one or two cars I have never seen them fitted on Porsche before getting mineORIGINAL: kitchens Daro911. That car i saw was on Goodyear Eagle Tyres not your favorite i believe

That's a Top Shot John[8D] The next is a close up of the interior I hope. Have you got red stitching just on the seats or is it also on the dash? I can't see the dash clearly in that pic.ORIGINAL: jdpef356 'Top Shot'
A question for all whether you own one or not, whether you intend to buy one or not. On the subject of enjoying driving without having all the comforts, if you could only choose THREE options to spec onto a standard Spyder, what would they be? Note that whilst the radio is free, as it's needed for mobile phone connectivity, if you're choosing mobile phone functionality and radio, we'll count those together as ONE of your options. Will go and have a think myself[8|]

PSE PCM3 Ceramic Brakes Wind deflector is standard isn't it? Would want sports chrono too, can't we have 4 options?
YES - just checked my brothers brand new Spyder invoice and it was standard so I have adjusted my spec PSE Radio-Mobile Full Leather My brothers extras making his Spyder a shade under £62k new []ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Wind deflector is standard isn't it?

640 Sport Chrono Package Plus £ 746.00PCM is loads of options in one so it is kind of cheating. Had I not seen my car in the flesh, I would have specced it on a build to order car. I mean, I do enjoy the lightweight ethos of sticking Liz's Garmin in the windscreen when needs must for navigational purposes but it generally falls off on long journeys at some stage which is always a bit distracting! Having iPod, radio, phone and satnav all neatly integrated has to be the preferred option, even on a Spyder! flat6, you are on a Spyderman yellow card for choosing leather and sports chrono over PSE.
