Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Can't remember what mine was but think it was about 1600 - OPC East London, one year warranty extension, plugs, fluid etc. Supplied my own oil. Got a 991 Friday to Monday. Thought it was a bargain.

OPC have slashed prices on the Reds!![] £2900 & £2200 reductions [:'(] http://locator.porsche.com/ipl-customer/ipl/results/list.ipl?cid=1

While I love red, it's odd why red is a bad seller in porsche, even GT3. Both look great in Red as does the Cayman R, but again not many red R's ordered. I was going to order a red GT4 if no nice launch colours but it puts me off, as I always have resale in mind. I have helped a few people look for cars and all have said "not red" even black before red, and I think the Spyder in black loses its lines.

ORIGINAL: johnnyspyder* I had the 4 year service last March on my Spyder. Bill was £1800 including 2 rear tyres (£250 each) plus MOT. So £1100 sounds like a bargain !!!
I paid £700 so £1100 does not sound like a bargain to me, my OPC do look after me though. £1800 sounds scary when a tyre is sub £200 in the real world.

Yes the tyres were more expensive than local tyre shops - but the OPC met me half way. I hate tyre fitting shops so was happy to pay the premium to ensure no damage to wheels. (or at least less hassle if damage did occur) and I didn't have to hang around in filthy "customer Service Area" waiting for tyres to be fitted! £700 sounds very cheap though - more like the price of the 2 year service. If this was a 4 year service - including plug change and brake fluid change - then your OPC certainly do look after you!!

Just to balance the numbers, mine was £950 in Aug'14 but as it's my first Porsche I'm perhaps not as valuable a customer as MrD - PCGB membership does get you a healthy discount.

The rarest out of the 6 [:D]

to be fair the only decent ones are the black pdk and white 911v ones. the two high mile white ones do look well used in the pics. no doubt the previous owners had mega fun with them. red is nice, but both of those would look way better with spyder wheels and the gt2 buckets. I think one of the red ones was the ex pec car as well if you google the reg plate.

To keep the record accurate the black car is a 2011 not a 2010!

On paper has to be the Private 13K car. But much will depend on the buyers preference and if he is a cash buyer or require finance.

Good spot. I had half a day's fun in that car at the PEC - it was so "full on" we had to come in for a coffee break! The driver's seat was torn on the side where it had been caught by uncaring people getting in and out, some of the decals had been high pressure hosed off and I dread to think how many sets of brake pads and tyres its been through!

19" Sport Design in all the pics I have seen....the same ones that Kenny Ritchie had on his Black Spyder, except his wheel where black face/ silver rim /silver on the inside .
