Talk about self indulgence Robert [:D] [:D] nice pics Interesting to see how quick that car goes if it reaches close to that I would be amazed ....despite the wording and lack of photos ... add details are all over the place not the best composed I have to say .I wonder who will do the Major service a big one due in April 2015 would have to be an OPC if I was buying it

Is that white one the same as the previous 50k one? Mileage is slightly higher though. Funny mine had exactly 11452 when I purchased as well.

another car claimimg to have full leather and does not have it!! if we get a few more at that price and that will be the price

Rule number 1: Never taunt the weather Gods until after the event [;)]

Despite the glut they are all the right side off £40K which is good ....mileage is the price factor more than anything it seems as to the values

ORIGINAL: johnnyspyder* in fact I wouldn't buy a manual again and given that over 60% to 70% of new Porsches are sold with PDK then I am not alone. But if you prefer manual that is fine - your choice.
the key point you make is new cars, the Spyder is 5 years old now and all we keep seeing is board PDK owners selling their cars. we can all buy new car and sign up to new tech PDK gen 1 , PDK gen2, PDK s and PDK gen 3 very soon , but the Spyder and Cayman R are the last of the cars with real dampers, hydraulic steering etc etc people crave that 3 pedal interaction. Cannot give tiptronic cars away, give it 3 or 4 more years and gen 1 PDK will be so old the guy who want the tech will have moved on to new things. why no manual cars ever come for sale .... I could go into why ,but you won't agree ;-) GT4 sold out 5x the cars they have made and it's manual only !

quote dated 5th March Expect a sibling or two for the GT4 before too long. Andreas Preuninger, manager for Porsche’s motorsport and high performance car division, hinted heavily that another manual GT-style car would be coming soon, and also indicated that a full race version was at least in the planning stages

ORIGINAL: MrDemon I still think the PDK market is now very slow for a 987.2 Spyder. And I still think the 987.2 manuals will be £55k this year if not next.
To quote from one of the all time classic road films and I believe the original road film too[;)] Sundance Kid: You just keep thinkin', Butch. That's what you're good at.
so it took 3 days from my post to now see £50k spyders, lol

Mr Demon, you are entitled to your point of view and that's all it is - your view. My point of view is different. I am planning to change my PDK Spyder not because I am bored with PDK but just because I want a new car to play with and I will only buy if it has PDK. I normally change out after 3 or 4 years and have held on to Spyder for 5 years. Not the sign of a bored driver ! Subject now closed from my side!

All I see is another PDk car to market which in it's self says all I need to know ;-) I guess moving on to newer better tech ...

Just took mine out for a quick spin. Brimmed with v power and tyres correctly inflated. Wowzer! Can even get the back end moving around under heavy braking! What a machine. Off out again in a mo to give it a spin on some of surreys finest country roads!

Mine came out of winter hibernation today filled with shells finest as per always and runs like a beauty after 3 months tucked up in the garage! If i get the gt4 call then might punt it at 50 -55k and see what happens!if no gt4 car I will wait and see if the 981 Spyder has gt4 flavour about it and I get allocated one,if not and only 981 Gts power hike then not worth swapping out of the 987 Spyder. The 981 Spyder needs to passive suspension like x73 and either the gt4 3.8 or 3.4 with 360 hp plus extra torques.

My money is going on the following educated spec guess from clue to date [;)] come April 1st official launch 3.8L 370-375 bhp Same standard kit as GT4 Manual only Manual 2 piece roof system X73 Sport Chassis
