Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Yes It is, We are down for lunch then an early afternoon drive session. Taking the wife as she has always wanted to do track days but won't drive mine in case anything were to happen. She had a taster session at Llandow a few years ago and has wanted to do it in someone else's car since so hopefully she will enjoy next week. Do you just drive around the track and play at launch control starts or do you do the kick plate etc ? Geoff

it will be a nice car but it is that colour of trim, cocoa interior. as these cars become expensive and collectable, enthusiasts/investors want a good spec and to be honest when i was looking for my Spyder i would not have given 30 for it. i would have bought a car with red interior even at top price

Could it be the case that more of these 987 Sypders are beng brought up by collectors and been hidden away ? How many of you guys on this forum have managed to get allocation on the New Sypder ?

[:)] Let's see if it can last more than 24 hours this time. What was pretty cool about owning the Spyder was that it is a rare site on the roads. I have seen more of more precious metal on the road than I have seen Spyders.

3 isn't too bad Brian. I guess with a fairly small number of Spyder buyers, speaking of those who don't currently own a 987, I guess it depends how many defect to 981 as to whether the current amount on sale starts to be too many for the size of the remaining pool of 987 buyers. Then to add to that if more current owners sell up to buy 981, will that then be too many. For now there seems to be enough buyers and no car has stayed on the market for too long. The next few months will be telling.
