my Spyder, how it should sound ;-) (ps the mic is stuck to the rear number plate and the flaps are unplugged) off load it's all quite normal in the cabin. https://youtu.be/NUXq8r-BD4o

ORIGINAL: geoff lane Nice and goes well ! Make sure you run my GT4 in properly !! Geoff
did you sell the 997.2 RS ? and now have a 991 GT3 ? thought you were going to pay the mortgage off ;-P the cars 997.1 RS fast to a ton. I would say even say a tad faster in 2nd gear in the mid range. blooming GT4 delays hence why I fitted manifolds and a set of CUP 2's to my Spyder for the summer.

That's the best tune I have heard from a 987.2 ... How involved is it changing the manifolds like that

Amazing!!! The overrun is so thrummy and meaty. Under load sounds really Rorty. Exactly what I would like. Defiantly need to get a set. Any 7k plus rpm clips ;-p ?

About 3 hours work. Easy to swap back I pre bought new bolts and gaskets just in case of hassle. I cannot put into words now strong the mid range is now. No cels and mot pass also. Just a bit expensive, but I cannot see a GT4 being this fast.

Sold the RS because I bought it to drive and put 10k miles on it in 2years as a weekend car and now the prices are dropping for cars with 20K miles and above which mine would have had on it if I'd kept it another year so swapped it for a 991GT3, when I did the deal there were no 991 GT3's for sale, with the amount for sale now not sure it was a good move but at least I have a car I can put 5K miles on while I'm waiting for a GT4 to become available. The only deal I could get on a new GT4 carried a premium of 50% NOT PAYING THAT. I am quite happy to pay a small premium out of the premium I have made on the RS and now transferred into the GT3 assuming it continues to carry a premium and it is a very good car. The intention is still to generate cash for the mortgage but I have accepted I'll have to wait until GT4's start to become available in the meantime I have a car I can use and even with all the GT3's for sale at present there are not many Clubsports with buckets and the very nice red stitching so hopefully it will sell when I can get an acceptable deal and you've got the GT4 nicely run in ! Geoff

great you can try these cars :), I do think there will be a 991 GT3 correction but only down to about £149k.(many think they will go up still though so who knows) what colour GT4 are you going to be after ? I do kick my self not buying a RS at £95k (but then I kick myself for selling my GT3 at £38k) as once you have a car fund you can play a little and maybe try cars which drop more than one would like. I am not that into the 991 GT3 but would have tried one for a few months. running the RS back to back with the 991 must be interesting, are you finding the 991 too easy, while speed is addictive the whole concept of a sports car looks too easy to me, and can you ever get to 9k on UK roads lol I have trouble reving out my little spyder on the types of roads I drive.
