Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

ORIGINAL: MrDemon took 2 hours for 1 corner did the other yesterday. might do the rears this week end.
I'd be interested to see if the rear arches come up as clean; mine certainly aren't, despite my best efforts. All that crap being shot up there by those big rear tyres I suppose!

got a mail about mine but as I am away at work till early August guess I will be driving a well run in car by time I get down there.

Do you get the chance to drive other cars on your PEC visit or only the car you've 'ordered'. Be interesting to drive the Spyder and GT4 back to back.

I would think so few cars there and so many people with orders to cater for the chances of playing with both very slim indeed

Just booked my Spyder test and was told there will only be one 981 Spyder and it will only do 1 single 4 hour session per day![&o]

It seems there might be one way to do a back to back test, but probably quite difficult to actually plan. I was told you can invite a guest to actually share the driving experience at no cost, no additional time obviously. So if for example 2 guys interested in both cars were doing their experience in the different cars on the same day, ideally same time, I imagine each could invite the other as his guest, so effectively swap over for a while ??

Good thinking! I suspect someone might be along soon saying why would a GT4 customer even want to try out it's poor relation [;)]

I like to drive any thing I can, only way to form a real opinion on some thing. ;-) not that you can learn much on the PEC track mind you., just a laugh and nice food.

Thought you might resemble that remark [:D] I hope I learn enough to know whether or not to proceed with my order. I don't expect that I'll have placed my order or paid my balancing deposit at that point so I might end up with a PEC experience but no new car. I guess that's a return on the £5k of mine they've had for a few months now.
