Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

I have always bought my cars to drive and get the best from, think I tuned my TTRS in the 1st 6 months to 430bhp :)

when did Porsche start doing life of car warranties ? :p

putting more than 250 miles on and keeping the GT4 has been far worse for residuals !!! the days of 30K overs have gone imo and we have not seen a Spyder sell 2nd hand yet, it seems to be stuck at 15k over still for sale ! (and looks a nice spec/colour though)

be odd when the old one over overs takes prices of the new one ;-)

I guess if people are happy with a detuned lifeless engine that's ok, these new cars def don't have the zing of the 3.4.

Not got much in the way of new pics for the new page, sorry it will have to be my banana

it will be a bit marmite but the last time I had a GT silver car I wished I had gone for darker wheels so this time I did; hides the wheel I agree but I like the break up of the silver; each to their own

Come on MrD cheer up your car looks fantastic and I bet it goes just as well

Yes , As I said all mega cars, And I am very happy as I do have a choice what to drive, but one does get annoyed that this engine should have 420BHp, the GT4 is too good a car again to now only have 385BHp

I love my car, don't get me wrong, but I like to give a honest appraisal of things I own :) imo of course, as every one has an opinion, that's mine.

Just think how good the cars would have been with a short ratio box, a real 420bhp engine and Hydraulic steering ? that would have given me the wow factor and I could have sold all my cars and just have the GT4 :)

but Porsche need room for the gen 2 cars to get better and there is a lot of room for the 981 range to get far far better, adding their token 10bhp every model and tweeks it will be 8 years before we see what these cars could have been !!

Saying that if I could make my Own Porsche, it would be a Spyder with the 420bhp GTS lump, R8 trick electric roof, GT3 sus arms, the 380mm GT4 brakes, a sweet short ratio box and Hydraulic steering with a set of 3 way adjustable shocks and lets throw in PDK-S while we are at it lol

shit how good would that be :)

Andrew you won't be spending hours trying to keep the wheels clean thats a plus to the Sat Plat or Black look over the shiny silver [8D]

Looks really nice in that winter light and despite the detuned 3.8L lonnnnnnnnng ratio stick shifter at least you can drop the top and soak up the music from those twin pipes :ROFLMAO:

Who needs extra horses when you have one like this in the stable

Boxster 7

Are those Pirelli tyres fitted as I thought they had all Michelin PS as standard.

Did you go for the camera ?

Yes they are Pirelli's.

Looks like Andrew has got the same on his car.

I did go for the camera, so will be interesting to see how well that works.

Would have prefer the option of sensors front and back !

apols for duplicate; it's Monday

Still very nice Andy. I still cant decide on the rear camera. How are you finding yours? Glad you have it or could live without it?

Is the image very clear when using it?

Thanks,

Phil
