Daro, any clues what colour orange that is ?

I did enquire about Lava Orange for PTS when ordering mine, but was told no !

I do like the crazy PTS colours, but think they make a good addition to a rainbow collection of Porsches. Not sure if it was my only one in the garage though.

Fair play to those guys though, he looks pretty chuffed [:)]

Hi everyone

I'm new to PCGB. Get my car on Thursday & thought it would be good to join. Looking forwards to getting involved with a few club activities.

Here is a photo of my new baby whilst being PDId. I managed to beat the midnight blue metallic car, as mine came to just over £82k. Yes I got carried away but I get the feeling this could be the last of the breed and I love the size & feel of the Boxster as a sports car that's ideal for our B roads (but not with a 4 cylinder engine...)

Looking forwards to getting her out on the open road with the roof down!

Looking good in the Green. Saw the pics on Piston Heads.

My Spyder has turned today, 5 days early at the OPC!.. However cant have it until the 11th as its going down to Paintshield for a full front + sideskirt wrap and detail with Gtechniq.

Phil

The car looks a million dollars but we were a long way away from a deal.

You didn't own my GTS before me by any chance as the spec is very similar and the guy who owned it was waiting for a Spyder.

Congratulations that is a cracking looking Spyder and I saw 2 at the factory only last week and I think one was RHD so it may not have cost as much as your beauty but might be heading this way too

Last week was a Porsche big push with PTS orders and the most popular seemed to be Viper Green, Voodoo Blue, Fashion Grey and Carmine Red

I think its the last of the flat 6 mid ship any future Spyders [8D]

I would have said 1970's Continental Orange but Porsche have a habit of tinkering with colours that look the same but have a different name :ROFLMAO:

Your Lava Orange was flowing through the factory last week on new 718's it's definitely been a huge success judging by how many were there and they looked nicer than the GT3 RS in that colour maybe smaller car with black roof was the reason it appealed more to me at least

The PTS Wall why doesn't Reading have one too! This missing blue sample was my Voodoo for me to see and hold in my hand for a few minutes :ROFLMAO:

Welcome aboard Wishbone, loving the Viper !

I completely agree this could well be the Big End to the flat 6 story for us Boxster fans.

Fair play to you for maxing out the spec.... A very special car.

looking forward to a big Spyder meet up one day.

may be the Silverstone Classic will be the day ?

Surely may well be the last flat 6 in a Boxster I would suspect but you never know with Porsche on the next Gen of Spyder might be able to shoe horn the 911 turbo engine in with mods but did read it does not fit but speculation as per.

So next Gen Spyder might be a pumped up turbo version with any luck 400 bhp

Any who wants one in the future and not lucky enough to secure the 981 Spyder will have to buy the new one in whatever engine size iam sure it will be a great car just maybe different.
