“It’s devoid of everything luxury, and has a manual gearbox. It falls into the same category as the R. Total devotion to looking for [saving] every single gram.”
So if there’s going to be a 718 Cayman GT4, it would seem foolish to bet against a 718 Boxster Spyder, too.

35PSI in old money .all tyre pressure will rise when warmed up ..that is why when doing track days people reduce the pressure when up to temp .SC50 said:can I ask what tyre pressure people are using on the 981 spyder.
The book says set at 20 degrees C so what should be the pressure
when cold. I have set the pressure at 2.1 bar when cold and when
warm it can read 2.3 to 2.5bar, any body got the answer ?
I have a hard back book...The new Boxster Spyder unfiltered ... size is 250x170
It is a 61 page launch book for the 981 showing all the codes etc It is mint with the code on the side
WSLS1601000225 EN/UK I can take a photo and email if any one is interested and make an offer when seen .Also available Edition 2 2015 Porsche news update brochure showing the 981 Spyder

Hi Daro. I don't have a Spyder and so I drifted off the Spyder forum :-( Also have become immersed in the karting. Sometimes feels like a full time occupation without any pay and lots of costs lol
If I could run 2 cars i'd have definitely kept the Spyder.
So what's the latest? Is the rear deck on those slim hinges holding up? I recall it was a bit of a concern when the 981 hit the road.
Car looks great and exclusive.
He never has the hood up so the hinges will not be a problem [].
The rear deck is a bit Heath Robinson in many ways ,much prefer the deck in the 987 much more rigid and to its style(more rounded and usability ) The old roof was better in some respects looks nicer with the longer trailing straps imo ,down side was the speed limitations if driving abroad (100+)which I never did so not an issue for me .Hope Maurice has a good season in karting If Mr Hamilton does not improve I can see a seat for your son
