Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

I really dont really care much which engine it has in it. I cant have any influence over that.

If I put a new light bulb in my car by the end of the day the whole street knows:rolleyes:

Funny thing is I didn't say a word:ROFLMAO:

How do Porsche keep these things secret?[8|]

No one can tell from clips this time due to petrol particulate filters ..

sounds Nothing like any of my past 5 Porkers that’s for sure.

The GT3 has a very expensive engine - dry-sumped with bespoke crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, valve actuation and more - and the most likley common part for the GT4 engine would be the 4-litre block. Remember we're looking at a likely price point of £72k - £75k here.

The GPF and different exhaust arrangement to incorporate the central duct for the rear diffuser probably account for the different exhaust note. The track day junkies will be happy as it appears to be less likey to attract the attention of the on-site noise police..!

Sent the ‘ring clip to my OPC dealer. He says they’ve had total news blackout on the new Spyder but to him the one in the clip sounds like a 4 cylinder turbo. His best guess is a spring announcement.

How many Spyders heading to Brands Hatch this Sunday?? Brands told me if you don’t have a mirror hanger permit for the infield or south bank you have to park with the public.

Brands Hatch 2018

Weather couldn't have been better Porsche's as far as the eye could see and great track action too

Meeting up with like minded Porsche fans from all over it doesn;t get any better than that[8D]

Car looking good Robert ...not sure about the selfie [:D]

Had mine out at the Bo,ness Revival & Ayr Air Show over the weekend, weather was mixed so just left the tent on[:(]

Great looking car. Mine was on the South Bank (memo to self - book earlier!). Shame there were so few Spyders. +1Red; +1 GTSilver. The two on the Infield seemed to draw a lot of admirers.

Guards Red 987 Spyder with 7k on clock what a find didn't take long to sell at mid 50k , not surprised. So glad I brought mine 3 years ago which is very similar spec in Guards Red but with the carbon buckets and no air con. Mine has done a few more miles though !!! Can't think of a car which drives as good ,holds it's money so well and looks stunning , not to mention very rare.Well a 981 Spyder maybe!! Can not see myself parting with it for a long time yet. Hope you have all had great Spyder moments this year and what Spyder weather we have had. All the Best.

You haven't seen my Golf GT have you Cliff?[8|][][:-]:ROFLMAO:

Guess there may be more than 3 Red 987 Spyders.

However, the only ones I've seen since I owned the Red one above have all belonged to PCGB members.

I think 987 Spyders came in the following White, Black, Silver, Blue and an off White and of course Red.

Ones things for sure, Red is rarer than White [:)]
