well you couldnt go much more "off thread" than that! I will, however, be attending the meet in my 944, rather than helicopter, plane, or any other form of transport. Might persuade the missuse to come in her classic tho, which is a Triumph Vitesse. just to add to the "variety"!

I might just be tempted by this - I know I've sold the car but this is the first Midlands forum meet I can remember [:D] might even bring the Civic [:D] But I'm only coming if Mark brings his new blue car along :ROFLMAO:

Last year we had Porscheshop open day, Porsche and Polo, Club HQ open day, Silverstone Classic, NEC Autosport show, I could go on....in fact I'm fed up with going to the Midlands for everything! More Southern meets I say.

Been over to Rutland, good looking pub in Empingham at the north east corner of the dam, which I think would be most suitable venue. Mike
