OULTON PARK RS DAY 2014 IS GO!!

ORIGINAL: Steve Brookes Recent video of Oulton from one of the GT3 boys. Lots of resurfacing has been done over the winter. Shell oils and Druids are looking particularly good. [:)] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ9ehR4g1V8
I was there a few weeks ago Steve and Druids is most notable and is now a lot quicker and not nearly as slippy even when wet. Although please find your own limits [;)]

Hi Guys Thanks for bringing out such great machinery! I 've put some pictures on Photobucket from yesterday. Exactly my thoughts when taking it! The carpark was full of good stuff, custom Harley, Ferrari, Lambo, in addition the Porsches including 13 (?) '64RS .

ORIGINAL: Laurence Gibbs Great day, great track , excellent company. Good times. Cheers all[:)]
Agreed ! Here's a video clip with you Laurence as ballast......it was the session just after the track shut down for oil remediation.....all through Island and Shell Oils plus more. http://youtu.be/3Q4rCYRG4F4 No GT3 drivers were harmed in the making of this video

Thanks Oldtimer, enjoyed that. Sadly the video from my new camera came out completely pants. Great in car footage but completely overexposed track that i can only just make out in a few places and sound that didn't sync with the video.

Indeed, a great day. Thanks to all who helped organise things, Steve for corralling the troops as usual and Kevin for expertly showing me the way round. Honorable mention to the weather gods as well, can't expect much better than that in March. I really enjoyed the track, the car was great, driving standards were as good as I have ever seen (only one stoppage due to a Caterham spilling oil) but equally it was a really good social event, very well attended by the 964 mob and just really nice to see everyone and meet lots of people for the first time such as Martin and Lawrence (your car sounds really good!) See you at Spa! Ian

We get the same with Gopros on normal setting. However we use the 'spot' mode which changes the focus to get rid of glare. Which is why the cabins appear to be dark inside.

One of Jevvy's videos (89 911 with 993 engine). Some footage of Melv and ChrisW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9YEDQ-Qs6g

Here is a lap, if you can put up with the terrible quality. Best without sound , as it's out of sync. From the bridge after cascades and back again. http://youtu.be/47lC0R1l5Oc

I agree a great day out. Would have liked a second day! For those gopro folks, what settings did you use. I will utube one of mine later.

Looks like the fog was still there Laurence! [:D] Not sure what camera you're using but if it hasn't got a 'spot mode' (like on the gopro), mount it on the dash for the Spa trip, as that will avoid the screen glare.

Hi all, Part lap from me, just trying to aork our how to use the video software :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCm2HG01S08&feature=youtu.be More to come, Cheers, Kev
