Porsche Spotting

A Greeny Blue colour 944 S2 or Turbo in the Orchard shopping centre, Coventry at 9:15 am and a Red 944 lux (I think) nr Chandlers cross (Watford area) this afternoon. Anyone here?

Saw a black J reg S2 near Llanbradach, South Wales this morning. Don't see many around these parts so pleased to see this. Had just dropped off my S2 for belts change and was in other car so wasn't able to form a 944 convoy.

Blue K plate 968 at Bishopton Station this morning. Nobody in it.

Also maritime blue 968 sport often seen in Bothwell St, Glasgow city centre. Very clean looking. Anyone on here?

Stuart

I exchanged a cheery wave with a bloke in a lovely K reg 944 Turbo cab as it joined the M25 from the M4 yesterday, it was so shiny and red, it made mine look even more pinkish!

We then got stuck in a jam after some young chap in a Toyota Avensis had rear-ended a rather tasty 997 Cab.....[:(]

Also saw an F40 on the A1, couldn't see the plate to see if it was a friend of a friend's one

And then saw a lovely Series 1 E Type on the M4 towards Bracknell this morning!

On Wednesday I saw a white G reg Cabriolet Turbo going up the A3 just as it crosses the M25.

Not sure if I like the look of the cab with its top up!

I saw a 944 S2 yesterday between Watford and Rickmansworth. White and the number had CLC in it. Looked in good condition.

I saw a white 944S2 SE on a K plate parked outside the Holiday inn at Glasgow airport this afternoon. I liked the wheels and the colour coded spoiler.

Beautiful J Reg S2 in a stunning shade of blue in Redhill station car park this afternoon - just had to wander over and take a look...... now green with envy. Shame there was no room to park mine alongside.

A red wine colour 944S2 in the outside lane in traffic on the M25 between the A3 and M3 this evening (5:30ish. The 944 looks great in this colour.

Pulled off my drive around 9:30 this morning and was followed by a white 944, not sure if it was a Turbo or S2, I turned off to Lydford after a few miles and he continued on towards Tavistock.

Amazing coincidence given that I've only ever seen one other 944 in Devon in the last couple of years and that was a blue one. Even more amazing given that I have also recently been up to Manchester and back (approx 600 miles) and only saw one other porsche and that was a Boxster !

Took my daughter to a dance lesson in Oundle yesterday and saw a little procession near Polebrook airfield of a 356, a TVR350, Burgundy 944 S2 and a Sierra XR4i

Unfortunately I was in my Wife's car, the TVR guy was being all brave by having his roof down in the rain!

out and about for the first time today with the family and the top down and as i was looking around, ait was either a boxter or 911 (too late to tell, the wife seen it) flashed me, so sorry if it was anyone on here, i wasnt being rude, i didnt see you! a belated hi anyway[:D]

ORIGINAL: A9XXC

Two today! Red Lux Nottingham city centre lunchtime and a metallic blue cabriolet on the Melton Road about 3 ish.
Mike

Heh... that could well of been my Red Lux - I was around the centre that week in the middle of the day.

And yea... that IS an old post, just searched for "Nottingham" in this topic as the other day had two mad individuals on separate occasions wave, shout and give the thumbs up sign! One was on a bike at the traffic lights onto Huntingdon Street, the other last week some guy walking with his missus up Derby Road when I was pulled in at the lights - both looked dead excited! Was wondering if they were some of you loonies from the forum! [:D][;)]

out and about in my 944 cab yesterday, when I saw 2 boxsters in front of me as I approached Weedon on A5. I chased these 2 boxsters south from Weedon on the A5 - over took one, the other turned off to Litchborough, so I followed. He showed a mean turn of speed but I kept up, until I turned off in Litchborough to double back to Weedon via Farthingstone (as I live in Weedon, the entire escapade was "extra miles" on my journey home!)

Blue silver F plate in the car park of the council offices in Swadlincote - in the van as usual!
Also heading there a silver 928 S4 pulling out of Repton School - VERY smart.
Sunday/Monday on the Narborough Road in Leicester a rather well used 924 in a very nice dark blue.

just seen another red 944 (couldnt tell if it was an early or s2/turbo) parked outside the ship pub in hoylake. i was outside the back of my shop having a fag!!!![:D]

Was driving up the A43 out of Northampton yesterday and saw a Red 944 coming towards me so flashed and waved, the blonde lady in the 944 just looked at me as if I was mad/sad!
