Porsche Spotting

Chalked up another kill on today's sortie to Heathrow
Pulled up alongside a Blue S2 on the M25 clockwise approaching Junction 21, I slowed and tooted (well I am in a Turbo, I have to slow down for an S2....) but he was too busy concentrating on his phone/sat nav to look up....I am starting to get a complex!

Blue late (judging by the bridge spoiler) 944 (S2 I think) from Haselmere towards Petworth around 5:45pm. Private plate, DWP ***. I was behind you in the red S2.

390 miles today constantly on the look out for a fellow Porsche to brighten my dull motorway journey and all I saw was one Cayenne![&o]

Having gone weeks without seeing another 944 I've now seen 4 in 24 hours - a white lux in Windsor last night, then 3 tonight, a burgundy example in Cookham and 2 more white ones with private plates heading towards Maidenhead/Bray - I assume there is some sort of meet and greet tonight.

Alas I was not in mine as I'd just dropped it off to have some bits done - good to see though...

I saw a red S2 J26 *AN I think this afternoon South of Westminster bridge. Sounded and looked great.

white Lux ? reg B111*** going through Merriott village towards the A303 last night ?
I think the owner works in Yeovil which is where I usually see it.

Drove down to Heathrow hearly this morning for our Sales Kick off, dumped my car in the Crowne Plaza car park and then saw a Red Lux also parked up in the car park as I was bussed over to the Sofitel for 11.5 hours of powerpoint.....topped off with a Dinner at the Mercedes Center at Brooklands though, so not all bad!

Was any of the white lux's on the M4? I have been using mine for my commute last couple of weeks.

Beautiful J Reg S2 in a stunning shade of blue in Redhill station car park this afternoon - just had to wander over and take a look...... now green with envy. Shame there was no room to park mine alongside.

Thats mine, its a daily driver and at weekends the wife and two teenage girls just about squeeze in! Not doing enough miles but great fun.

944 Dark Blue (I think - it was very wet and dark!) M6 near Coventry 6.30ish this morning, taking it steady in the inside lane or just come out of the services.

white J plate going north on A361 from Dav to Kilsby this afternoon in the AWFUL weather!
I left mine out to drive to work this morning, but put it away wheni saw how bad the rain was, in favour of an extra few feet off the ground in the SMAX....

Nice to find another local 944 owner - have been feeling a little lonely ! Have not got around to putting rear belts in her yet, so really only use for the daily commute.

Lovely 924 on the ramp at OPC Leicester car looked used well but cherished, the technician that takes care of the older cars was working on it,the person that owns that car really loves it i bet.[:)]

Drove mine down to Bristol and back today (beat the Sat-Nav by an hour on the way home!)
Saw a lovely 928 racer on a trailer heading up the M5 at lunchtime, all in White with Martini stripes, I slowed down and gave an appreciative wave and toot to the bemused van driver!

2 968s today in 20 minuites today on the M6.
First Northbound in the traffic near the M5, silver and looking good.
Second southbound around Corley Services, a race car on a trailer in dark blue with white wheels.

Lovely maroon* lux, with slotted valance, on the M25 going anti-clockwise passed reigate and joined the M23 southbound at about 7.30am on Thursday morning,

It was showing a fair turn of speed too [;)]

*Not sure if that's the correct description.
