Porsche Spotting

Spotted a red 944 S2 this morning leaving Wanborough heading onto the A419 in thick fog.
Fantastic looking car, being used as it should.

Maroon 944 at the roundabout in Manor Royal, Crawley - flashed lights & waved but was in the Galaxy so they probably thought I was nuts.......

I'm sad to say I haven't seen a 944 on the road in a long time! They are getting rarer (or have all gone away for the winter)

Well I went Huntingdon to Heathrow and back in mine today, saw two 996 C4s and a couple of Boxsters but that was it

Saw another in Bristol the other day on Brunel Way, heading to the A370, but only registered that it was a 944 when it was past.

Hardly saw any 944s in Bristol for a year or so, then two in a month...

Picked mine up this morning from service at promax, parked in Milton Keynes station mutli storey, and there was a grey turbo parked up in there too. J6 something, I think. Far too full to be able to park mine next to, or even near it, in fact the only spaces were on the roof (which I wasnt too chuffed about, parking my cab on the roof all day in the rain!)
Had Andy's promax chip fitted, seems promising, but have only crawled home in the MK rush hour so far, too early to really tell...

Typical, the 2 days I am using my Wife's new car (535D Msport Touring) yesterday evening I see a 968 on the M4, and a 1978 911 targa on the M1, then this morning I see a white C reg 944 Lux on the M4 anti-clockwise on the M4 near the M40 junction.

Saw a 997 and a 996 C2S on the way home up the A43 and A14 respectively

Should be back in the Pork next week when we get rid of the 7 series

[FONT=Arial"][FONT=verdana, geneva"]Anyone spot the white 944 on 'South Today' Thursday 20th Jan during the clip of the day after the storm 1987? Looked like a Lux.

Saw a Red Lux (private plate) sat outside a garage next to Stapletons Tyre place in Huntingdon this morning, looked redder than mine and had a nice set of Black wheels
No driver to be seen as for once I was in mine!

White 928S4 parked outside the garage on Daggers Hall Lane, Blackpool - from the registration plate I guess it is owned by someone called "Dave". Saw it last night, and at the weekend.

At the weekend, I also saw a Black 944 (S?) parked near Stanley Park, Blackpool.

Finally, after 5 months of 944 driving, I saw another one in Esher this morning - White G reg. I waved, he didn't, I felt foolish.

he was probably blind Danny [:D] actually it is surprizing how little you can see through another car's windsceen in some light. I always flash my driving lights to attract attention. If he still doesn't wave I generally coment on his parentage ....[;)]

1st wave from a 911 :) usually stony faced old gits ;p. dark blue 997 in linlithgow, gave him the thumbs up

Smart looking H reg S2 in what looked like a dark metallic brown ???? on the A3 this morning, was in my company car as usual...

Visited friends in The Park, Nottingham. Spotted a nice guards red late 944 (either turbo or S2) with registration "three letters951". Looked ace.
Regards,
Bert

Ooooh I live right on the edge of The Park!! Although mine's guard red ... it is neither a turbo or S2, nor has those numbers ... so wasn't me! But I'll be on the lookout for this one if they're local, as I often have to walk through The Park to work :)

Where abouts are you in Notts? I've got a couple of mates now with 944's in Notts, although one is a Q plate he got for £800 bless him!!

Hi Guys,

Finally, saw another 944 on the move (i.e. not just parked), when I've been in mine!! It was yesterday on the A3 heading north, I was about to turn off towards Send and a late blue 944 (looked very tidy), was in the outside lane.

Waves were exchanged [:D]. Was it anyone on here?!

Cheers,
Rohan

Followed and stayed with a magnificent white E-reg 944S on the A42 out of Birmingham at about 11pm [:D]
Had an impressive "S" decal on the sides, looked in lovely condition as far as you can tell at night ... but boy were your headlights BRIGHT when I overtook! Ouch! hehe!

If that was you, HELLO! [8D]
