Porsche Spotting

ORIGINAL: Black Beauty

Lovely maroon* lux, with slotted valance, on the M25 going anti-clockwise passed reigate and joined the M23 southbound at about 7.30am on Thursday morning,

It was showing a fair turn of speed too [;)]

*Not sure if that's the correct description.

correct term is I believe 'caning it' [;)]

Saw a nice Red S2 on the PCGB stand at the Classic car show at the NEC today, as well as a White 968 and 944 in car park N10!

2 white 944s in a day - a D reg in Old Windsor and a cabriolet in Esher, I was on foot/in the pub both times once again.

Red S2 / Turbo heading north on the M6 around Birmingham about 12.30 yesterday - I was heading south in the van as usual!

hi all, a 924s seen off chingford lane, london e4, think it was a daily driver parked in the road outside house,on the drive was what looked like a mint, silver 70s 2.7 911 rs, cheers jason

Black 944 (lux I think, same as mine) parked on Cotham Road in Bristol. Seen it around Bristol a few times too... I parked across the road from you a few weeks ago, couldn't park next to you!

White 944S2 on Saturday night around midnight - followed it from Thornton to the M55 roundabout where it went off towards Kirkham.

Hi Giles

Good to see somebody else on here in this part of the world, though I don't see many Porsches (well 944's) around the area I thought I was the only one around here that ever posted anything. A local kindred spirit at last!
Ian

Hi Ian

I've been here for at least a couple of years, where've you been?! (Though I don't post that often) Whereabouts are you, and what 944 do you have? I know there's at least one other black 944 in Bristol, as I've seen it, and my friends have seen it and thought it was mine! I also saw a red one on the Bath road a long time ago ago, and I was overtaken on the M5 by a blue cabrio a month or so ago. Come to think of it, my mechanic has two or three 944s too. The more the merrier :)

Saw a convertible, with the top up, leaving South Croydon this morning. Did try to wave, but he didn't see me in Black Beauty, must be the stealth qualities of black and salt!!!

Nice black 944 turbo, number plate 951 KPO going up Park Street in Bristol about 20 mins ago. I was on foot, walking down the hill, but I smiled! Anyone here?

To the very nice Red 944 Cabriolet I saw coming away from West Mersea this lunchtime, my aplogies fo rnot giving you a wave! The sun was in my eyes and by the time I realisefd you were a fellow 944 driver, you were past.

White F or G reg Lux on the inside lane, tsk tsk, of the M25 Jn 7 AT 7.30am this morning. It looked very clean, must have had its weekend wash like mine, unfortunately wasn't in mine this time.
