Guilty as charged!!
You're right though; given that there are about 75 944s for sale at any one time on Pistonheads, you'd think we'd see each other on the road more often.

red 944 heading north at bottom end of M40, somewhere near High Wycombe on thursday morning.
was in S-Max, and travelling at closing speed of, I would guess, at least 160mph, so no point waving! In fact, I don't have the ability to a) recognise car, b) wave, in that sort of timescale.

There are two square dashes parked outside the same house in Midhurst - One white and one metallic burgundy, both looking rather past their prime sadly. White one has a huge windscreen sunstrip with "Porscheshop" proudly (???) emblazoned across it !

Black 944 S. Mallory Park race track, Gerard's Bend, you left and I took the parking space you vacated.

I think there's a 944 under a cover near me, on the Penn road just past the piano shop? If you're on here could you take the cover off so I know for sure? [&:]

944 'NOT' spotted? Has anyone recently purchased a white 944 s from Wilby near Wellingborough in Northamptonshire? For as long as I can remember there has been one sat on a driveway visable from the road. Never seems to move but occasionally gets washed. Suddenly it's gone?!

Wahey!! My first proper 944 spot in ages and it couldn't have come at a better time. Familiar number plate too but I can't think where from. Truly beautiful red S2 driving through Chapel Brampton on the Welford road late this morning.

Number plate was **** VOX I was out walking dogs in the rain, having a downer about the 944 and again thinking about the idea of selling both cars and getting a 996 gt2.

Seeing how good a nice 944 looks as it drives past really cheered me up and made me remember how much I like them. Thank you.

Regards,

Ben

Benjamin - How many times have you bought a car only to sell it and buy another 944? how much has that cost! stick with the 944 and don't look at the 996 GT2 on 911virgin ................ ooooooooops!

And another Shiny Black Turbo spotted in Bridgwater heading out on the Taunton Road.

This one looked a later car with an early number plate.

Only just caught sight of the back of it as I was geting over the shock of the fuel prices in the BP garage [][]

Not 944s but a very smart yellow 924 heading south on the M6 near Birmingham 7.00 is this morning and a 968 also yellow heading north on the M1 Sheffield way 3.00ish the afternoon - as usual in the van heading the opposite way!

Saw a Red Lux with Brisge Spoiler heading South on the M1 near Junction 12 tonight, I was heading North and gave a hearty wave!

Black 944 turbo, heading towards Glasgow on A8 around Eurocentral at 7:35 tonight.

Possibly Tony (poprock)

I was heading to Edinburgh for club meet.

white 944 S2 going north on A5 yesterday evening, just south of Kilsby - too late to wave as had just overtaken going other way!

Spotted yesterday - 944 S2 in guards red on a "G" plate. M5 - not too far from Bristol.

Looked very shiny ... I was in the black 944 which looked like it had completed the Paris-Dakar rally ...

Saw a Black 944 Turbo yesterday, near Brun Grove in Blackpool, then today a 944S2 or Turbo passed the house - it was a strange metallic Purply Blue colour - never seen owt like it before! Then in Lytham centre, in the space of about 20 minutes, I saw a Black 911 turbo, Blue 911 Turbo, a Silver GT3, a Silver 911 Cab, a couple of Boxsters, a Cayenne Turbo and two 'ordinary' 911s - all recent cars, and all heading in different directions, so I don't think it was a club event, just a nice day to get the Porker out.

I don't even notice the modern cars - Boxsters, recent 911s etc. I always wave - they very, very rarely wave back and theres so many of them about I couldn't list them on here!

Over 12 hours on the roads this weekend, 700miles and only briefly saw one classic Porsche. A 928near silverstone.

Had my mirrors full of a Red Lux half the afternoon.....
