Porsche Spotting

Saw an early 944 (white) this morning in Enderby at around 8 am, looked a bit like your old one Mike.

ORIGINAL: Outrun944

ORIGINAL: simdel1
There was a red 'C' reg for sale on autotrader a few months back that had black sills. IIRC it was a midlands car too. I wonder if it's the same car?

Quite possibly then!
Hope he signs up and sees this :) That was only the second ever 944 I've seen in Nottingham :(
Be good to have someone local to natter with about 944s and swap war stories!

Anyone know anything about these 'black sills'?

The one I saw on autotrader looked like the sills had been replaced, but they had been painted black instead of the body colour.

just pulling into Weedon off the A5 this evening, and a white 944 S2 is pulling out of the village turn in fron of me! A cheery wave followed, as expected (at least at that speed there is time....). First one I've seen locally for a while and didnt recognise it, anyone on here?

I came around the M25 around 7pm in my Red turbo, but luckily did not need the assistance of a recovery truck....

Saw a lovely bright green 993 though, the guy looked a bit surprised when I pulled up alongside and waved!

White Cab with pinstripes on the M4 between junction 10 and 11 heading west at about 1pm, was in the work hack as per so no waves.

And another 944, metallic blue C plate at the M4 tolls going into Wales at about 700 am. Not sure what it was as it had no badges.

Saw a Black Lux heading North on the M1 at Lunchtime, pulled up alongside and tooted, which made the driver jump somewhat!
Exchanged cheery waves

Well thats one a day now! 10 am Red Cab heading east on the A4 at Twyford and I was in mine. These cars are far too common.

Ah, yeah. That would increase the odds somewhat! I do less than 10k/year so I don't see too many interesting things

I went to Esher Surrey last night, in my 944 with a mate to watch the Senna movie, and on returning to the car park a few spaces up was a bright red D-reg 944, with cup wheels and the turbo/s2 nose, but was de-badged so I couldn't tell exactly what it was. It looked immaculately kept as it was gleaming in the car park lights and made my baby, although not unclean, feel a little inadequate, so I gave her the beans back down the A3 and she felt a lot better [:)]

The Senna movie is not bad but possibly worth waiting for the DVD rather than paying for the cinema, as there will be loads of extra's on it.
