Hi All

I picked up a manual cab a of week ago. Violet blue metallic (Porsche special order paint) and white-ish leather interior. I know it sounds a bit girlyish but it has only done 58k and the unusual colour is growing on me all the time.

Just joined a month ago but have been using and checking the forum and the 968 section a few time since.

92 968 coupe now with fully working engine thanks to Hartec

welcome to the forum and well done on your acquisitions and we've had some nice weather to enjoy them

Paul good to meet you last week, a picture of mine at Knockhill a couple of nights ago.

You too Sandy - your car looks great. I hope you were thrilled with the performance of your car on the track. I'm now wishing I had the benefit of a sunroof - so hot at Croft in the car for 30 minutes with racewear on. [&:]

Long time moocher, first time poster ! (I think !)

I've got 2 x 968's - a 93 Tiptronic and a 94 Manual. Manual one is in semi-permanent retirement, whilst the Tip is a DD.

1993 Tiptronic - 167k mile strong :)

1994 Manual - Ameranth Violet - 120k miles (?)

Just realised I had not updated my entry on here. As my avatar shows, the red coupe has changed slightly! She went to a very good home - the MD of Nine Excellence, Porsche specialists in Horley (near Gatwick) and has been replaced by a Tahoe Blue tip cabriolet, 1993 registered but, as I found out from the CoA, built in 1992! Just under 65k miles when I bought her in May, needed a little TLC but is slowly getting there. Had a Promax 7100 chip fitted, and was surprised to find she already had a Superchip rather than the standard ECU chip! Goes even better now!

The cab is a very different experience to the coupe, especially on those rotten occasions when you have to drive with the hood up! She's at her best in the sunshine, hood down on back roads.

Happens a lot - often Paul McNulty will pick up on the post and correct it for you, or just phone the club and they'll get it sorted.

Yes, Porsche968uk is good - normally better and more active than the 968 forum on here. I've had loads of help from there, plus Stu (Mr968 on here, who owns and runs the 968uk forum) sells useful 968 parts! I bought my Promax 7100 chip from him, came quickly and with superb fitting instructions.

just joined the 968 ranks with 92 k reg cab, so my 1st look on here as only used the 944 section before for obvious reasons!
