Rolling Road Day for article for 911 & Porsche Mag

I have posted over on Tipec but is seems that this date clashes with a club event. No takers so far I'm afraid.

I know this is a 944 day but you could try some of the other Registers to make up numbers?

Edd

assuming that all is still well for this event do we have a time for arrival Lee , I have a long way to come but will probably be there reasonably early, I plan to leave London around 6am. I also have a business meeting tomorrow morning ( sunday...lol) for a new contract due to start later this week that I hope will not conflict, it shouldn't but only fair to advise.
Anyway looking forward to seeing how the old girl is doing, only wish I had time and money to get her remapped to get the best of the mods added over the last 3 years..lol

Pete

Chaps is there a database online with results from previous days that also show the boost and AFR read outs?

Thanks [;)]

ricks database has some graphs showing AFR etc...

www.cannell.co.uk/UKL%20WDF144.htm this link shows my car many years ago when it just had a DPW and remap.. needless to say it's a far different beast today....[8D]

Pete

Well had good trip to Porsche and Polo, 140 mile round trip and all appears well!

What time is it?

I'm in Leicester, 5 min from J21 M1, anybody travelling through /by?

Mike

Good to see no major problems Mike. I am going from London, but on the Friday evening as I will stay at my aunts in Stafford and continue from there on Sat morning which will make things a little easier.

Hi Pete

I will be there from 9am. Although I will ring Steve at Dyno Demon to see what time he wants people.

Is everyone still looking OK for the 12th Sept?

I have not heard from 911 & Porsche mag for a few weeks re this.
I will chase them also on monday make sure they are still coming.

Any other questions you can get me on 07715005624

Cheers

Lee

I should still be going, although at this point all 4 brake calipers are in my garage... and the car is on jack stands on the drive. Should be back together before Wednesday though....

Hi Lee

Did you get an answer from 911&Porsche World?

Pete

Hello all

Well I have organised lovely weather for the weekend, so bring your suncream[8D]

Just spoken to Steve at Dyno Demon. He opens at 9am, so the all important kettle will go on first then we can start the runs.

As there will only be 7 or 8 cars it will not take long to get through them all.
I am happy to go last if others need to go first with longer drives home.

Any other questions just ask if not my mobile number is 07715005624

This is Dyno Demons website if you need to get their postcode for directions

So if everyone is still OK for saturday we are still on.
There is lots of space if anyone else fancies coming along.
May have a little drive out to the Horse Shoe Pass in the afternoon for a cuppa
if the weather stays fine too.

Cheers

Lee
